Iām not normally one to write long captions on social (or one to really post much in general), but this is something Iām incredibly proud to finally be able to share with the world, and feel it deserves a little bit of a back story.
I was fortunate enough to meet and work with
@mathis_dumas on a project with
@thenorthfaceuk (massive thank you to
@simonbrizard for that!), and through Mathis I also met
@jordan_manoukian , who I canāt thank enough for believing in my editing and wanting to work with me on so many projects, but most of all to trust me to look after the post-production on this film.
Theyāre both incredibly hard-working talented individuals that are absolutely killing it, and this film highlights not only Mathisās unbelievable talents in the mountains and behind a camera, but also Jordans vision, direction and his own talents in the mountains too. I have absolutely no idea how these crazy dudes manage to have the vision and the balls to go and shoot what they do, thereās some absolutely insane scenes in this film that were hard to stomach whilst editing let alone shootā¦
Itās been a wild ride with lots of challenges and reiterations over the past 24 months, but so sick to be able to craft this whole film from start to finish.
Itās being shown across a few film festivals over the next few months, and the big one is EOFT in London on the 5th of November, and Iām looking at getting another screening in London at an independant cinema some point over the next few months, so hmu if you want to come!
