The last page of this years NEXTLAP calendar has been flipped yesterday. The vision of this photo was pretty clear but for the execution I honestly didnât have that much of a plan. And mid shoot I had to decide I had to put it together in post. The light we had just wasnât strong enough to freeze the action and also I couldnât get the slow shutter effect of the water using that technique.
In the end it all worked out perfectly and made one of my all time favorites.

The year is coming to an end. It flew by. I wish you all a nice December, happy holiday and huge thank you to everyone who supported The NEXTLAP project last year and who does it this year. Onto the next one đ«¶

This session happened the night before we shot the double of Kili and Chilvio for the April Page of the calendar. And it it all happened completely spontaneous and in a rush. Being familiar with the TC sunsets I knew I had to get the gear ready asap when I saw the little crack in the clouds. The photos that we go out of it were a mix of water and light reflections through the water housing lense. Some classy carves and Sprays. And some motor-tower aesthetics we all love. So good that it also made the February page.
