Most recent mix for @centralonair is out :))
I had a lot of fun curating an eclectic combination of sounds for this one and it was so special to have so many friends there supporting and dancing along <3
My favorite part of this set is that it finishes with 4 tracks from completely different eras + genres that are all connected by the use of the same drum loop.
Electronic music is so magical and it’s so much fun to be able to discover these kinds of histories and then piece them together to give them a new life.
Featuring tracks by: @gems_wanted@andrezimmer_@yaleesahall@whatsgoodhood_@bufobufo23@archives.nia@seqta_@mahkina.mx@waxxassassin@ryndinvi@third_wife@jamandspoonmusic@aphextwin.afx@theprodigyofficial and more.
Full set is linked in my bio under Youtube Mixes.
Exactly 4 years ago today I went to my first rave in Paris :') Everything since then has been a long beautiful journey of discovering the evolving place that electronic music holds in my life. It's been such a gift.
This was the literal entrance to that space and it just so happened that I decided to finally record an industrial techno mix last week which entirely plays tribute to that first party. Nothing was planned, everything improvised, and it all fell perfectly in place.
Thank you @prb08037 and thank you Paris <3

I'm beyond grateful to share that my article "Queering Cinema at it's Genesis" was published in the Columbia Undergraduate Film and Media Studies Journal (@columbiadoubleexposure ) as a part of the Fall 2025 print issue!
This research paper was one of the first projects I took on at Columbia for my Queer cinema class and it really shaped how I approach both film studies and filmmaking.
Queer filmmaking and Queer media representation should reflect Queer people truthfully in every aspect of production.
Queerness isn't just about identity, it's about how we exist and interact with the world around us.
Film exists at the crossroads of art and commodity, forcing us to question the means of production not just the final product.
And, of course, this idea extends beyond filmmaking to many other creative spaces which are continuously being encroached upon by capitalism.
We must stay conscious, continue questioning, and seeking out the many magical ways Queerness exists as a force around us.

Thank you so much to the team behind Double Exposure who supported my vision from the start and helped it come to fruition on paper. And special thanks to Jack and Alex for graciously allowing me to ask so many questions about their film, which served as the basis for this paper. It takes a village, as it should.

Looking for ways to spend time this Winter in nyc, notably when I'm bored and certainly activities that do not require spending money. suggestions only.
