We have been reflecting on the exhibition as a whole and the space it has created to collectively process these deeper emotions. Hey guys! It’s the final week of our exhibition and we are ending with a gathering and performances with poetry, drumming and theatre! The nights artistic offering is directed by @stazlab with Aleemscorner. We hope to see you there! Grief Love Persisting opening night art exhibition was a beautiful experience. Grateful to share space with artists whose journeys transformed grief into powerful expressions through diverse mediums. A reminder that art holds our stories and memories. We had some really heartfelt conversations, as I learnt more about the artists and insightful perspectives also from the viewers who came. I also really love the nostalgic setting as you walked through the door into the exhibition, from the placements of the artworks to the furnitures, tv and aromatherapy , it really takes you back in time, to a traditional Jamaican household, giving you all sort of feels and memories. 🙌🏾🇯🇲 Truly honored to be part of this exhibition— Thank you @aleemscorner 🙏🏾 My works will be on display until Wednesday April 29th @stazlab located at 1 Grosvenor Terrace, Kingston.
