We’re so back, you don’t even know how back we’re about to be. Braket has always been an evolving project to create the parties we want to go to. Proudly queer, proudly femme, and proudly chasing the transcendent moment when you lose yourself surrounded by beautiful people. In our time away, we’ve been stripping back the things that block that and building up all the ingredients for an incredible night. We’re so excited to bring you a delicious all-vinyl lineup, our signature light and sound (including new subwoofers!) and all the opportunities to dance and play you’ve come to expect from us ;) The mythical Faited has been an inspiration for years, but now she joins us behind the decks to share her incredible wubs, dubs, beeps, and boops. Seriously, you already know that every set is an exploration of sound design and a masterclass in technique. Joining her from New York by way of Chicago, lifelong devotee of electronic music S4M23 brings a wide range of influence centered around Midwestern machine funk and pulsating Belgian EBM and New Beat. Sam’s sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for the dance floor. Her sets lean into mutant sonic collisions, channeling the spirit of midwestern electronics through acid-infused, tracky selections. In case you need another reason to come early and stay late, Braket residents jcore and 2dahlia will bookend the night with their freaky selections and powerful grooves. Take it from their roommate, these girls can spin like hell. Recoherence is made by and for FLINTA* people who create the unifying and freeing power of dancing together. If this is you, welcome to the dance floor. iykyk… if not, be prepared for a wild ride :) We are using a new vetting and ticketing platform for this event specifically built to protect our community and keep our spaces sacred. Everyone will be vetted based on their answers to a few short questions. There will be absolutely no door tickets and we expect to sell out, so please get vetted asap to ensure you can get a ticket. community.braket.gay

DJ SPOTLIGHT: JCORE (@staticvibecheck ) For jcore (@staticvibecheck ), the ideal dancefloor is a sanctuary. Based in San Francisco, she wears many hats: DJ, sound tech, event organizer, and more. As a member of the Braket collective (@braket.sf ), she co-produces underground raves for underserved communities of queer and trans dancers with a particular emphasis on high-quality, DIY sound and lighting setups. Her taste reflects her interest in sonic tactility: while you can hear her spin anything from a bouncy techno groove to a swung, bass-heavy shuffle, her sets are united by a focus on unorthodox sound design, precise mixing, and full utilization of the sound system. See her TONIGHT at @monarchsf Free RSVP
