I am super excited to be sharing our third North Shore Family Festival May 31, 2026, 12-5pm. It is a FREE event that will be sharing mindfulness and movement with people of all ages. We will enjoy the great outdoors while connecting with nature, ourselves and others through different forms of art. There will be a number of exciting, explorational and interactive workshops including sports, dancing, yoga, painting, tie dye, a drum circle and more. Local Staten Island businesses will also join to share their incredible goods, food and services. The North Shore Family Festival will take place at the amazing West Shore Little League, 340 Walker Street, 10303. @westshorellsi

⏰STARTING TONIGHT: Our “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” Free Concert Series kicks off on May 5, 6, 7, 8 in partnership with Staten Island Arts.
Join us for these free performances hosted in the Honorable James P. Molinaro Lobby beginning at 5:30pm. While the admission is free, donations and tips are warmly encouraged at the door to directly support these talented artists.
Seating is limited to 40 guests, we recommend arriving at 5pm when the doors open as seating is first come first serve. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

🌱Spring is here, and the world is getting greener by the day! Time to celebrate with a cozy, creative evening of beaded plant-making. Join us for a hands-on craft night where we’ll turn beads and pots into charming, everlasting plants - no watering required.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just looking to try something new, we welcome you to our office for a night of unwinding, connecting, and making something beautiful to take home.
All materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own container to upcycle or beads you want to use. Instruction will be led by our very own Theresa Figueroa, known plant murderer and creative problem-solver. 🪴

Speak-Easys are community building events designed to help you (SI Artists) find each other and discover ways to “speak easy” about your art, creative process, needs, and more all in an easy flowing, informal environment.
What might you want to be able to “speak easier” about?
🎉 SI Arts is excited to announce that our first Speak-Easy event will be held on Thursday, March 26th, 2026!!!!! Yay! SI Arts: Speak - Easy aims to provide our artist community with a casual, alcohol-free social night. We will be providing the vibes, and Mocktail Mart will be providing the bevvies. Come connect with us and other fellow artists in a space where you can “speak easy.”

We’ve extended the deadline for our NYSCA ABC Grant and SU-CASA Residency Grant to allow more time for submission.

Artists Bring Change (ABC) regrants are for artists & organizations working in partnership with public schools to engage K-12 public school students, and are funded by the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
SU-CASA grants are for artist residencies in senior centers. SU-CASA is a citywide program funded by the New York City Council and administered by the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Department for the Aging.
