Happy birthday (for yesterday) to my beautiful girl @nichole.l.orth . She continues to be the most perfect wingman in this silly little life we’ve created full of kids and dogs and music and more. I’m so proud of how she’s handled some huge changes in her life over the last few months, and so excited for the plans she’s putting in place and making real for herself. We’re all so lucky to have her. Happy birthday, lover girl xx

I woke up in the middle of the night, as I regularly do, to the news that the fantastic album i made with the incredible @imogenclarkmusic has been nominated in two categories for @ausindies awards. It’s up for Independent country album of the year (adding to her Golden Guitars and ARIA nominations), and I was especially chuffed to be nominated in the Independent mix, studio or mastering category. With a whole bunch of absolute legends I might add.
Imogen, her relentless creative force/manager @misterjeremydylan and I worked SO HARD, on this record, and this is a lovely acknowledgment of the good work being done here at my little creative universe at @thehousestudiomc .
And as I sit down for a day or mixing Imogen’s even better new record, I’m just so grateful to Imogen and Jeremy, and all the independent artists who have kept me rolling now for over 35 years in my studios.

This week, we're so excited for two big nights in two beautiful venues, playing our 'Music of The Bee Gees' show. Friday May 15 we head to see our frie4nds at @keystone1889 in Bathurst, then on Saturday May 16, we across to see our new friends at @centrocbd in Wollongong. We'll be playing all of the Bee Gees hits, and the songs they wrote for others. It's such a beautiful show, and we can't wait for the weekend. Ticket links in bio!

As I get older I’m reminded more and more that every day is a gift, and getting older is a privilege. Since my big brother @paulallencarpenter led me to blood donating when I was 16, it’s been one of the touchstones of who I am. More so now than when I took it for granted when I was younger. As I always say, it’s a great thing to be healthy, well and able to donate.
