THIS SATURDAY! Step back in time to the golden age of radio as Bathurst Theatre Company brings the magic of the 1930s–40s to life at Keystone 1889. Enjoy an unforgettable evening of dinner and a show, featuring two live radio plays and music from the era, performed just as audiences would have experienced it decades ago.
The highlight of the night is the highly anticipated premiere of Who Framed Myrtle Murgatroyd?, the brand-new work from playwright Phil Sanders and the sequel to last year’s hit Errol Flynn’s Middle Wicket. When we last saw Alan and Myrtle, they were busy foiling a Nazi plot… this time, Myrtle is accused of murder. Set in 1930s Hollywood, this witty, fast-paced mystery asks: when your girlfriend is framed and you’re a struggling Australian actor, who do you call? The Hollywood Cricket Club, of course!
Featuring special guest A Country Practice star Shane Porteous alongside a talented local cast, this immersive theatrical experience blends suspense, nostalgia, and live performance in a truly unique way.

This week, we're so excited for two big nights in two beautiful venues, playing our 'Music of The Bee Gees' show. Friday May 15 we head to see our frie4nds at @keystone1889 in Bathurst, then on Saturday May 16, we across to see our new friends at @centrocbd in Wollongong. We'll be playing all of the Bee Gees hits, and the songs they wrote for others. It's such a beautiful show, and we can't wait for the weekend. Ticket links in bio!
THIS FRIDAY! 🕺 The Album Show presents The Music of the Bee Gees.
The music of the Bee Gees transcends most other song catalogues for not only its enduring and diverse material, but also the longevity and versatility of their songs. From their original British Pop influences, through to their second chapter encompassing disco and funk, their timeless ballads and even dalliances with authentic country and soul music, you would be hard pressed to find writers who achieved so much over such a long period.
The Album Show will be presenting a purpose built selection of iconic songs from the Gibb Brothers’ catalogue, including their own mega hits as well as those written for other artists, in a night of stripped back simplicity, where the songs will be pushed to the fore. Featuring the incredible voices of Anthony Snape and Peta Caswell, with Album Show leader Michael Carpenter as part of a 6 piece band, this show promises to be an unforgettable night of soaring vocals and engaging harmonies framed by a subtle but engaging accompaniment, adding another chapter to the evolving catalogue of Album Show shows
