In Summer 2024, Stagecast worked with the BBC to capture performance films for the newest iteration of BBC Ten Pieces, focusing exclusively on women composers and allowing children to explore and get creative with classical music in the classroom, produced in collaboration with @urbancroftfilm who created beautiful complementary wraparound content.
It was a delight to work with the @bbcconcertorchestra , @bbcphilharmonic and @bbc_singers , as well as an array of brilliant soloists all conducted by @ellie.slorach .

Two years ago Stagecast were at @stmartininthefields to film the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists 🎻
To mark the end of his tour of St John Passion with @monteverdi_choir_orchestras last week, we look back at @peterwhelanpp leading an incredible performance of Handel’s biblical oratorio, Israel in Egypt, a real highlight for our team and a privilege to capture for film.
Last May Stagecast had the pleasure of filming @bertrandchamayouofficial and @leifoveandsnes recording their new album ‘Schubert 4 Hands’. 👐🎹👐
A privilege to witness and capture the stellar pair’s musical relationship through Schubert’s iconic duo repertoire, and a delight to work alongside the fantastic team at @warner_classics .

In another one of our films for BBC Ten Pieces, we had the pleasure of working with Shini Muthukrishnan @shini.m to explore the musical community and work of Marianna Martines.
Our concept for this project was to create a doll’s house to represent the community within the building where Marianna lived in Vienna. We filmed with Shini in a green screen studio, carefully mapping out her route through the building, allowing the audience to meet its residents and to share Marianna’s story.
