🌅 Join us for our next studio concert, Dusk in June, with conductor Daniel Hyde in a rich and varied programme of choral music from North America.
At the heart of the concert is Aaron Copland's In the Beginning, a jazz- and blues-inflected masterpiece and one of the most compelling American choral works of the 20th century. The programme also features works by contemporary composers Linthicum Blackhorse, Libby Larsen and Caroline Shaw, alongside Amy Beach's evocative Dusk in June.

👋 Meet Eve, the newest soprano to join the BBC Singers!
Eve studied at the University of Birmingham and has sung with leading ensembles such as The Cambridge Singers, ORA Singers, Carice Singers, Chamber Choir Ireland and contemporary music groups Shards and the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Eve is also a fiddle player with Inis Éire, a trio performing and recording Irish folk music, trad and pop covers.

For the final concert of our 2025/26 season, the BBC Singers join the Academy of Ancient Music for a performance of Bach’s monumental B minor Mass, one of the supreme achievements of the classical repertoire.
Conducted by Sofi Jeannin, this concert marks her final season performance as our Chief Conductor.

📣 New concerts announced at Milton Court Concert Hall, Barbican Centre for our 2026/27 season!
We’re delighted to return to Milton Court Concert Hall next season with two very different and exciting programmes.
In October, join us for A Whole New World, a celebratory concert of unforgettable songs by Alan Menken with the BBC Concert Orchestra and conductor Owain Park. From Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, to Beauty and the Beast, Sister Act and other Broadway favourites, we’ll be bringing the magic of these shows to the stage.
Then in April, we turn to music of reflection in Voices of Lament, exploring powerful musical settings of the Lamentations of Jeremiah. Featuring works by Thomas Tallis, Cassandra Miller and Nico Muhly, conducted by Peter Phillips.

💛 Kim Porter’s I want to die while you love me
Last week, Sofi Jeannin led us in her final studio concert with us as our Chief Conductor, where we gave the world premiere of Kim Porter’s beautiful new piece for the BBC Singers.
As part of our concert Songs of Love, we performed works exploring love and human relationships, with music by Palestrina, Schumann, Sven‑David Sandström, Nana Forte and Anna‑Karin Klockar.
