Rummaging through the archives I found this project from @alexcitrin class at Pratt Institute. I was never able to finish it because I had a complete meltdown. But looking at it now I kind of like it 😂

If you haven’t already noticed, one of my favorite things to do is sit in coffee shops and draw. And one of my (let’s be honest, most) favorite places to do exactly that is @themorningbakery Aside from being the first place I ever sat and sought refuge from an actual storm in Ireland, it’s also become a place where I’ve been able to build close friendships and a community. Which, mind you, is not easy to do when moving to another country in your 30s. I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent at The Morning, drawing, reading, working on my MA, crying, laughing, singing like a crazy person (sorry to my customers), and making a million coffees. But in these last few weeks I am feeling like I haven’t had enough time at all. This was not meant to be a big long emotional post about this space that I love so much but here we are. I am so grateful to @brian__okeeffe and @gruelguerrilla for allowing me to be a part of it all. Anyway, t-shirts! In the shop! I’m going to try to stop crying now.

I am beyond excited, happy and moved 🥲to finally reveal Céleste’s packaging. It started with sticky notes and bad drawings (from my side ) and here we are. It has been designed by a very talented designer that I am lucky to call my friend @stacymkim ! Whatever she does designing wine labels, making ceramic cups, creating logos, posters or exhibiting about food and identity I am always amazed how she somehow manage to tell a story and I am very proud that she is the one that designed Céleste’s bag. 💜 FR:Je suis plus qu’excitée, heureuse et émue 🥲 de pouvoir enfin dévoiler le packaging de Céleste. Tout a commencé avec des post-its et des dessins ratés (de mon côté) et nous y voilà. Il a été conçu par une designer très talentueuse que j’ai la chance d’appeler mon amie @stacymkim ! Quoi qu’elle fasse, que cela soit en concevant des étiquettes de vin, faisant de la céramique, en créant des logos, des affiches ou en exposant son propre projet sur l’identité et la nourriture, je suis toujours étonnée de la façon dont elle parvient à raconter une histoire et je suis très fière que ce soit elle qui ait conçu le paquet de Céleste.💜 #coffee #specialtycoffee #cafe #caen #roaster #torrefaction #barista #baristalife #design #packagingdesign #packaging #designer
