Bao Down 📍(Stack Newcastle) Visited @stacknewcastle and there was so many street food choices! But in the end we went to @baodownuk We tried: ⚫️Classic Barbecue (bbq pulled pork, sriracha mayo, spring onions, crispy onions, sesame seeds) ⚪️Katsu Chicken (panko fried chicken, curry and garlic mayo, asian slaw, spring onion, sesame seeds) I could have eaten about 20 of these bao buns; they were unreal! They are packed with filling and the buns are so fluffy, will defo be returning!

WORLD COCKTAIL DAY PT3. ☀️ Basically the bars I love that didn’t fit into the ‘Scarborough’ or ‘York’ categories… 🍹 @skyview.corfu - beautiful location to sit with a cocktail and watch the sunset 🍹 @sagavinaalcudia - lush frozen cocktails, dj sets at Alcudia port - introduced me to a Miami Vice and I’ve been obsessed ever since 😍 🍹 @moonbarrestaurant - unbelievable steak (that you cook to your liking on the table) with a side of frozen daiquiris! 🍹 @pixelbar_ @pixelbarleeds - one for your inner geek, video game themed drinks, game booths and pokemon cards! 🍹 @theroundkeswick - can’t decide which drink? Why not get a frozen cocktail flight and try them all! 🍹 @theboxbaruk - best bar on the otley run! Indie music, pool tables, Photo Booth & food to fuel the rest of the run 🍹 @themadhouse_deanstreet @themadhouse_pinklane - exactly what it says on the tin… MAD. Council house tapas, a ball pit and *interesting😳* shot glasses! 🍹 @cowgirlsandcountry - living out my true Coyote Ugly dreams 🤣 🍹 @stacknewcastle @stjamesstack - our favourite place to visit in the toon, food to suit everyone (even Annie 😧), football showings, live music and great locations! Back in Newcastle and we’ve been seeing @thisisbreadwin all over our feed while we’ve been away, so naturally this had to be the first stop back. WHAT WE HAD: HOT HONEY CHICKEN - Hot honey chicken fillet, house slaw, red onion, dill ranch and roasted spicy garlic sauce NEW YORK DELI PASTRAMI - Sliced pastrami, pickles, sauerkraut, spinach, cheese and smoked mustard mayo CEREAL MILK DONUT - from @deepnorthuk SPECIALITY DRINK - Peanut Butter White Chocolate White loafs are becoming more and more the norm these days and honestly, we don’t mind it one bit. Soft, fluffy nostalgia that lets the fillings do the talking. We were told the Hot Honey Chicken was the must-try. Chicken sarnies can easily end up on the dry side, but this one stayed nicely juicy, with the sweetness from the hot honey and the roasted garlic sauce giving it a decent kick. Proper easy eating. The New York Deli was the one that really won us over though. We’re massive fans of anything Reuben-esque, so this was always going to be up our street. Warm pastrami, sharp pickles, sauerkraut cutting through everything nicely. Might ask for it without the American cheese next time, but that’s more personal preference than anything else. Quick shout as well to the Cereal Milk donut from @deepnorthuk which disappeared far quicker than expected. Rounded things off with the Peanut Butter White Chocolate special - a nice little extra alongside the food. There is a brand new sandwich spot in Newcastle city centre part of @stacknewcastle @thisisbreadwin 🥪 with special cereal milk coffee and doughnut collabs with @deepnorthuk . We both went for the breakfast sandwich - 🥓 winners special (chicken sausage patty, turkey bacon, omelette, hash brown, cheese, smoked chilli mayo, winners signature sauce) ☕️ cereal milk iced latte 🍩 cereal milk doughnut Their sandwiches are served in a delicious milk bun with loads of options including chopped caesar, dynamite prawn and more. Loads of flavour and big portions.. I’ll be back for more to try the lunch menu 😙👌🏻 *ad

This new sandwich shop is an absolute (Bread)win-ner   Breadwin’s Hot Honey Chicken brought a slap and tickle with the mix of sweet and spicy notes, paired well with the house slaw to create the perfect crunch inside the sweet milk bread.   Completely different from the Hot Honey, the Smashed Philly had melt-in-the-mouth steak with a rich, velvety sauce. 10/10, would smash again.   #newcastleupontyne #newcastle
