Sunny afternoon in Tynemouth can mean only one thing… a trip to @rileysfishshack ☀️✨ After loving the breakfast menu last time I was so excited to try the lunch options. Luxury dog friendly stay at @derwentmanorhotel set in twenty acres of Northumberland countryside and overlooking the Derwent valley 🌳 We stayed in the den which is the newest loft style family suite in the highest part of the hotel with stunning decor, a super king bed, bunk beds and a private ladder access den with a tv and Xbox. My fave part of the suite was the bathroom with a hugeeee copper bath 🫧 We had dinner at the antler which is their dog friendly bar and shared Camembert, had steak and truffle fries mains and finished with a cheesecake 🤤 Derwent reservoir is a short drive away and has gorgeous views and walks including a field where the dogs can run 🐾 *ad

Seafood lunch at the third best beach in the world 🌍 😍 @creelandreel is located in links road car park serving fresh seafood from a trailer with a few tables and views of Bamburgh castle. We had the monkfish skewer and scallops on garlic butter toast.. fresh and delicious 👌🏻 will be back to try more of the changing menu 🐟

Hot pot in Newcastle 🔥🥢 @happiness2_hotpot We ordered the meat lover hotpot set which is £29.99 per person (minimum two people) and comes with a range of meat, veggies, dumplings and noodles 🍜 you choose your broth and we went for sichuan and chicken.. both SO good and loved the variety between the spicy and chicken broth. We ordered a side of salt chilli chicken (must order!!) egg fried rice and had brown sugar bubble tea 🫧 Such a fun experience cooking our own food and the staff were on hand to help with cooking times. The restaurant itself is stunning and located on stowell street. 🌸 *ad

There is a brand new sandwich spot in Newcastle city centre part of @stacknewcastle @thisisbreadwin 🥪 with special cereal milk coffee and doughnut collabs with @deepnorthuk . We both went for the breakfast sandwich - 🥓 winners special (chicken sausage patty, turkey bacon, omelette, hash brown, cheese, smoked chilli mayo, winners signature sauce) ☕️ cereal milk iced latte 🍩 cereal milk doughnut Their sandwiches are served in a delicious milk bun with loads of options including chopped caesar, dynamite prawn and more. Loads of flavour and big portions.. I’ll be back for more to try the lunch menu 😙👌🏻 *ad

Bank holiday weekend in Northumberland staying at the @beachhouseseahouses the perfect spot for exploring the Northumberland coast 🌊🐚 and they’ve just had a huge refurbishment 💫 We attended the reopening launch party and had cocktails (with a view!!) and tried some of the delicious food. Had to stay over afterwards in their dog friendly room which is nautical theme and has its own private terrace and seating area. Just steps away from the beach with views of the farne islands and boat trips on your doorstep where you can see birds, seals and puffins. We were so lucky to see orcas too.. a stay we won’t forget 🥹🫶🏻 *ad

Finally tried @marshallscafe in Berwick after stalking their insta for the longest time (spoiler - SO worth the wait!!) I had.. ✨ slow cooked beef brisket toastie with cheese and balsamic onions, chips and gravy ✨ blueberry and pistachio cookie ✨ iced brown sugar latte All gorge 🫶🏻 and has to be the best toastie ever made 🥪🤤 we visited Berwick town centre after starting at the amazing @slightlyfoxedberwickutweed and had a walk along the river with the pups 🐾
