Hiya, babe! My name is Shayla and I’m the owner of Stabor Studios. I’m a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in SC & traveling everywhere 🫶 👋🏼 If we haven’t had the chance to meet, I’d love to introduce myself and tell ya about my company! My background is journalism, and in so many ways I still get to tell people’s stories day in and day out. More than that, because of Stabor I have the honor of calling many of my client’s friends. I’ve watched people fall in love, watched their babies grow. 🥹 If I ever have the pleasure of taking your photograph, know that it is the greatest honor. 

This job allows me a front row seat to so many of the beautiful moments that make life what it is, and I am genuinely living my dream. (cheesy, I know, whatever) This job is so much more than clicking a shutter button, it’s getting to serve my clients in whatever season they find themselves in and creating images that will last generations along the way. I’ve always yearned for the ‘finer things’ in life. Sometimes that looks like poking through a bookstore for hours and finding a worn copy with an inscription, or having the world’s best cappuccino at a cafe by the Louvre, or eating a really wonderful dish of food that creates fireworks in your mouth like the ones straight out of Ratatouille. Most days, though, it’s simply remembering how good the Lord is, and finding the beauty in the world around me. (Like you) And if I were to boil my business down to the core, that’s what it’s about. The Lord has opened every door along the way that has allowed me to get me here. I’m just doing my best to glorify him along the way! 

When I’m not creating for Stabor, I’m usually hanging out with my husband, Ben, and our dogs, Cece & Hudson. I’m a goofball, and I’ll 100% say or do something awkward when I’m around ya. I love Diet Coke, baking new recipes, and cracking open a good book. Also, I love coffee. Do you like coffee? Let’s grab a cup. Blanc et Noir Elegant and timeless, yet modern and romantic. The contrast of crisp whites on dark mysterious black gave a sleek contrast, while also letting the textures of velvet and silk add character. The florals added drama and romance, with both decor and bridal florals giving statements. Our styled shoot from this week was a special day of watching talented vendors do what they do best and trusting it would all tie together - and that is exactly what happened.
