I recorded this song with @misterrhues and @parker_howe11 in 2022 and I remember when we did this session and how natural it felt. How much Im so focused on the energy of everything that it’s nice to sometimes slow things down and make them intimate. This embodies all of that.

“Undertow” featuring these fine lads @parker_howe11 & @sqvtch_ drops Sunday. This record is one of those moments where I’ll always remember that feeling of watching everything come together. It’s such a fun listen with headphones especially and hearing the vulnerability that both these guys add to the song is what makes it so interesting to me.

Sup everyone, too add context to this. We made this song around 2023 (around dumpster fire era) @itsmcnatt made this drum break that was so infectious and energizing it’s nuts. The whole process of making this song was nuts. How it was received at shows, to the amount of edits, @cellypdx added the scratches which *chefs kiss. We knew this song was special.
On the other end as a group I think we learned a lot as well through the process that really challenged the spark of music. To keep gunning it even when you feel like you can’t. This song really represents us gunning it and going as far as we fucking can, finding our North Star. I’m proud of the work and to everyone in @bathleteradio I fucking love you guys. Cheers to brotherhood and another szn of vibes!
