FINALLY 🚨 the BFR DIY Days Wristbands are now available!! 🚨 these all-ages wristbands get you into:
🤘all Thursday 7/23 shows at @d3artswestwood@scmc_denver_diy@squirmgallery and @anteupdenver
🎉 a festival pre-party at Blossom House hosted by @manossagrados
🛸 a brand-new satellite festival on Saturday 7/25 hosted by @d3artswestwood in their NEW expanded space
🧭 a map to all 16 community-hosted Baker neighborhood house shows on Sunday 7/26
🐴 90+ bands over 3 days for just $39 (we don't have fees on our tickets, so $39 means $39)
Every show hosted by our DIY partners will be all-ages. And as always: all money after expenses goes to paying artists. ❤️ We've talked with our DIY venue partners, and the shows will also be NOTAFLOF at venues that are always NOTAFLOF!
We, as festival organizers, could not be doing this without the DIY spaces, house shows, and community we found as younger folks that got us on our way to where we are now. From the outset of the festival, we wanted to have robust, affordable programming for music fans under 21, as well as programming that reflects the heart of any healthy music community. Denver couldn’t have the scene it has without these DIY spaces.
And did you know that one of the ideas when we were starting to plan a festival was for it to be a house show festival? We are so excited about the Baker community coming together to host an amazing, full day of shows on 7/26.
The DIY Days wristbands are all-ages but anyone with the DIY spirit is welcome. Link in our bio ikyk. 🐎 let’s ride 🐎

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the opening of the ‘Soft Decline’ group show on 2/27!
‘Soft Decline’ catalogues each artists’ sensory adaptations to living through times of turmoil. Working through varied mediums and circumstances this show implores us to reflect on the ways in which we consider viable notions like uncertainty, depravity, or yearning. Curated by @madeline.dtmg
‘Soft Decline’ is on view through March 28, with open gallery hours every Saturday 3-7pm, or by appointment.
The gallery is open today, and this evening we are hosting The Liberation Series—a night of intentional live music raising funds for community efforts, curated by @iriverageographies
The Liberation Series at Squirm Gallery is back on March 7!
This edition will feature:

Melodies Never Lie
@luke.leavitt & @edenfigs
Location: @squirmgallery , 7pm doors, 8pm showtime; $10-15 donation
We are raising funds for a community member who is being held in ICE detention. Our community member has a life threatening health condition. His treatment is being denied by GEO. In the face of organized abandonment and eugenics qua fascism, we the community are rising up to ensure life. Funds will be directed to acquire treatment to ensure that Hossein is able to keep up the fight, to plant hope for a day in which his freedom is realized. The need is great.
"Hope is a discipline" - Mariame Kaba
FREE THEM ALL!!!
This is a labor of love. Please support and respect the space, artists, labor, and community at this event!
For a culture of care! For a culture of resistance!

Soft decline: a group show opens on Friday, February 27 at @squirmgallery
What do we leave behind; what are we moving towards; and how do we find softness in the everyday experiences of defeat?
Soft decline is the net that catches us at the bottom of a fall from grace. It’s a memory of bygone comforts carrying a tide of loss, nurturing, and reflection. It’s the consolation of seeing a light on at the end of a long journey home.
