Out to @noizpresents for having myself and @realbandomusic in Pittsburgh this past weekend. Truly it is an honor to have been given the opportunities I’ve had to perform with my friends for the community. Can’t wait for the next one!! Up next is murkwood this Friday with the dons @enigmadubzofficial @mysticstate @laviermusic @subdermalsoundsystem and myself. I’m opening up the night at 8P. I’ve said this multiple times but this is truly my favorite lineup that I’ve put together for the party series. Both Enigma Dubz and Mystic State’s art have had such a large impact on me, and it’s been a pleasure to watch Lavier’s project grow alongside murkwood since I first booked him back in 2022. Besides myself and maybe one or two other selectors in the state I couldn’t think of a better support DJ than Subdermal Sound. This one is gonna be a night to remember folks. Been a while since I posted a food pic on here but I made some yukgaejang (kind of) today because my allergies were really acting up :) super proud of the plating here so wanted to share

I haven’t closed out a Murkwood since the very first one back in 2021, I generally don’t book myself for solo slots late at night because I want those slots to go to producers or other DJs that aren’t myself — IMO it’s corny to book yourself late at your own party. It’s why I almost always put myself as opener or middle of the night, or I do a tag set if it’s later. But I have to say that set I played Friday was a reminder to myself why I do what I do and that I’m pretty damn good at it too. That was hands down the best set I’ve played and to have spent the past few years putting in the time and work to build up a community that can appreciate the selections beyond a surface level of “hey this sounds cool” gives me a feeling of pride that is genuinely difficult to put into words. Lots of love to everyone that came out to celebrate my birthday show and kick off our Horizons sessions this summer with myself and the @universallynull crew. Lots of love to the @lessthanfamily crew @laviermusic @flexariani @djgovname and @khankuma140 for collaborating with us on the party and showing the crowd how they get down. Lots of love to my Null Entertainment team @xdiggitydee @powers_up and @teakeylive who month after month show up and put in 15+ hour days setting up and tearing down production, hosting, and putting out fires alongside myself for the ART of doing so and putting on a dance for the sake of the dance. Big thanks to everyone that came out early to murkwood this past Friday to catch myself on resident duties. I had a great time setting the tone for the night (always do, tbh I like playing doors more than later in the night at my own parties nowadays) Horizons has been announced :) I’ll be playing my usual birthday set of music that generally don’t let myself play out at Murkwoods — velour, loungey, type beats; alongside @lessthanfamily representatives @laviermusic @flexariani and the homies @djgovname and @khankuma140 Tix are mad cheap for Null parties this summer, I hope to see you there! 📸: @in.vision_
