Specifically, painting with lake pigments on the Saturday, and painting with ochres on Sunday. Gonna be loads of fun. I hope to see you there?!

Collecting earth pigments on Dharawal country last weekend 💛
This part of the hacking river is gorgeous, a little hidden gem, almost untouched. The majority of pigments I’ve collected have come from around this river, and further upstream.
This country is beautiful, I’m so thankful for the wonder and fascination it brings me everyday. There’s nothing more inspiring than mother nature and all her glory
3 hours in 30 seconds. Gawd damn it feels good to be painting again!
Pigments used in order:
yellow - hacking river, Otford (Dharawal)
red - north Scarborough beach (Dharawal)
grey green - Bega river, Tathra (Yuin)
creamy white - rose petals (unknown species)
blue black - hacking river, Otford (Dharawal)
terracotta red - south west arm creek (Dharawal)
light raw sienna - hacking river, Otford (Dharawal)
where permission was granted, these pigments were collected mindfully
