I have been thinking outside the box⌠or âsewing left of centreâ with the @lewisandirenefabrics â Animal Alphabet line: youâll see no animals, and no alphabet, but even so, I canât wait to show you the finished project đ. This has been a really fun challenge, âĄď¸
Every time I have given myself a deadline or time related goal I just do something else. đ¤ˇââď¸The side-quests are completely out of control at this point, which is just how I like them đ⌠sometimes creativity works best that way! Todayâs saw me creating this panel from @lewisandirenefabrics âanimal alphabetâ fabrics. And yes, youâre right: not an animal in sight here. But what I love about this line is the geometric colour explosion, and I leaned into that. So now Iâve made the panel and have hatched a plan for it, and I have yet another project to feel excited about.

I adore the fields when they glow like this. But you know the drill: sunglasses on to protect eyes from pollen attack and plenty of hankies for the inevitable nose blowing. Hayfever is miserable but the beauty makes it seem just a trifle đ

Iâm currently making a new Nellie using this line by @lewisandirenefabrics (which Iâm very excited about); but Small Things: Fairytales was calling out for some Happy Square action! The fussy cutting opportunity is off the scale- scroll to see some of those cuties! I made up a set of #thehappysquarespouch and a project bag too.
**FUN FACT** scroll far enough to see those dreamy-soft hanks of yarn⌠these are spun from my dogsâundercoat. Yup- that is DOG WOOL !
