Honestly was grieving my birthday approaching this year, and everything that came along with it ….. 36…. What in the literal heck…. Lmao. I didn’t get to put all of what I did this year in here that meant a lot to me… But the late night walks I took myself on, searching for answers, and manifesting while I was low, was so meaningful to me…. I’m glad to be here amongst you all. The love is felt always. I am still learning to express more, and be vocal. But I sincerely wanna say thank you all for carrying me through the year, you helped more than you know. Happy Birthday old ass man…. Lol

this Saturday we welcome Lee Beard (aka SOEMS) as our final guest artist for November Portrait Pop-up 💫
✨ I’ve know Lee for almost a decade as we worked together at @bodega and few art projects in Boston. then this Fall I bumped into Lee doing some murals in Pawtucket, RI. Lee @soems@squaredotcom is a Boston-based painter who fuses graffiti-informed lettering with refined, photo-painterly realism.
✨ his studio paintings and site-specific projects translate the stories of place and people into bold visual landmarks. through craft and color, he creates work that evokes pride, belonging, and a lasting sense of legacy.
we will be offering 15 min portraits and along with your name stylized with each session to shop guests. FCFS 1-5pm on Saturday. come meet the Lee and hang with us at the shop.

This Sunday, we’re reimagining that same vibe with ‘Morning NUDES’ at SUMO (@boogermoney )—the first and last of its kind this year. Perfectly tucked inside a market popup world crafted by the genius of @theonlyhudson , SUMO is a haven with all the homies in on space at the same (damn) time. 🔐🔐

Hey beautiful people, SIDE here on Sketch duty! 👷🏻♀️👷🏾♀️ School bells are starting to ring and the crisp fall air is already tugging on August’s coattails. But as true New Englanders, we know this is the sweet spot between summer and fall—perfect weather for lounging in the Superette Courtyard at Seaport for Sketch 🤭😉
Join us tomorrow from 5–7 PM for our open sketch class, where we let our wrists do all the talking. Setting the vibe, @theonlyhudson (DJ Moola) makes her Sketch debut while @squaredotcom holds us down as instructor 👨🏾🎨. And of course, SIDE will be on deck keeping the fort steady 🙋🏾♀️🙋🏻♀️.

I am emotionally photo, and video dumping. Please look at this as a portal into my mind to see what lives there, and what I more than likely use as fuel to keep myself afloat. I appreciate you all, although I am not always vocal. To those that talk to me more often than not, I apologize for not shutting up sooner. Nonetheless, I am happy to be here amongst you all, although I am silent. I am thankful, grieving, trying, exhausting myself, being very unkind to myself as well artistically to push the margins further. ( I don’t recommend anyone to do that to themselves). I am pulling myself apart in ways that would worry most, however…… I am sincerely creating at a level I’ve always wanted to. I don’t post enough so here’s this… lol more coming soon. Please don’t dive deep into this, I am fine, I’m just sharing… I’m going to paint with my good friend today. I’ll share more along the way. Love, and overall the will to succeed.
