“The Man in the Mangroves Counts to Sleep” is an animated speech-synthesized opera novella, based on an original poem. It is truly a one of a kind short film. What a cool experience to collaborate with sound pioneer James A. Moorer (Oscar & Emmy winning composer), Donna Decker (published poet & educator), and Ralph Guggenheim (producer of “Toy Story”) #MSPIFF #MSPIFF45 #MSPFilm #TheMainCinema MoviesAtTheMain @mspfilmsociety @TheMainCinema

The Ann Bancroft Foundation envisions a world in which all who identify as a girl have a chance to live their dream and reach their full potential. They provide grants, mentorship, and ongoing development to K-12 girls in Minnesota. What a joy to create a series of animations for such an awe-inspiring organization. Happy women’s history month!

“Burren Girl” documentary follows a Minnesota woman searching for the place and people her immigrant grandmother left behind. How wonderful to work with and get to know director Rita Davern.

The Irish have some amazing storytelling capabilities, so it wasn’t hard to run with the enthusiasm and conviction captured in the documentary “Burren Girl”.

Hey, we're offline for a moment as we head to Ireland for a film we worked on. Burren Girl Goes Home to the Burren! The Irish premiere of Burren Girl is happening May 4th, 8pm at Hotel Doolin. Our animation work is featured in Rita Davern's film about her grandmothers life in Ireland before leaving for the US in 1887
