ORB
Art D’Égypte’s - Forever is Now II
Pyramids of Giza, Egypt
2022
“Orb” draws its inspiration from the historical Egyptian heritage around it. The choice of form and materials in the piece is presented as a direct reference to elements of mathematics and symbolism present in classic Egyptian culture and in the Pyramids in particular.
The shape of the piece alludes to the ‘pi’ number concealed in the geometry of the Pyramids, found when dividing the perimeter of a Pyramid by twice its height. The sphere is an invisible part of the resulting geometry, since a sphere with a radius as high as the Pyramid would have a circumference very close in length to the Pyramid’s perimeter.
The surface of the artwork captures the Pyramids, the sky, the surroundings and the viewers in a multiple fragmented reflection. It references the role of the circular mirror in historical Egyptian symbolism, where it was linked to the sun and conveyed notions of creation and rebirth.
“ORB” is part of the major group exhibition ‘Forever Is Now II’, organized by Culturvator / Art D’Égypte in collaboration with UNESCO and the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. From October 27 to November 29, 2022, the project brings together the works of 12 international artists including Emilio Ferro, JR, eL Seed and Jwan Yosef, set against the backdrop of the Pyramids of Giza, the monumental UNESCO World Heritage Site. The exhibition proposes a universal cultural heritage confronted with contemporary artistic practices, exploring themes from the distant past to the present to dream about the future of humanity.

HALOS
Florence - Italy 2026
HALOS is a large-scale installation composed of a matrix of gold and silver reflective circles, suspended in midair and set in continuous rotation.
Located at the heart of a former railway factory in Florence, the work unfolds a continuous choreography of movement and reflection that permeates the space it inhabits with light. As they rotate, the suspended circular forms visually intertwine, generating a constellation of reflections produced through the interaction of light and material.

The vertical architecture of the atrium, organized across three levels, establishes a multiplicity of vantage points from which the installation reveals itself in constantly shifting ways. Through the movement of the audience within the space, visual readings expand, overlap, and multiply, generating a potentially infinite field of forms.

DISLOCATION
Madrid, Spain 2026
Kinetic sculpture composed of sixteen vertical slats in continuous rotation, where forms visually collide.
In this work, movement and time operate as sculptural materials that structure the experience of the piece.
They not only alter the perceived form but also condition its interpretation, generating a state of perceptual dislocation. In this sense, the sculptural form is not conceived as a finished object, but as a consequence of time and movement.

DISLOCATION
Madrid, Spain 2026
Dislocation, is a kinetic sculpture composed of sixteen vertical slats in continuous rotation, where forms visually collide and transform before the viewer’s gaze.
In this work, movement and time operate as sculptural materials that structure the experience of the piece. They not only alter the perceived form but also condition its interpretation, generating a state of perceptual dislocation. In this sense, the sculptural form is not conceived as a finished object, but as a consequence of time and movement.
Within this process, forms that initially appear stable become ambiguous, producing visual effects that directly affect perception. The constant rotation disrupts spatial reading, blurring the notions of rotation and depth.
As the viewer moves around the sculpture, successive formal variations emerge. Each point of view produces a different configuration, establishing the work as a composition in constant transformation.

DIVIDED Xi’an, China, 2025
A monumental luminous sphere of intense red light, split into two identical halves. Each half is enclosed within a metal structure made of industrial scaffolding, commonly used in construction.
Visitors can walk through the space between the two halves, immersing themselves in a corridor of light and becoming, in effect, part of the artwork itself.
Earth Divided is part of the “Earth” series, composed of three works: “Earth,” “Divided,” and “Confronted.” The series has previously been presented in cities such as Madrid, Athens, Riyadh, and Ghent, among others.
