We have had the most incredible past two weeks spreading Holiday cheer to our local working K9s! Our volunteers were overjoyed handing out stockings to K9s Kingman the Fire Dog from Huntington Beach Ember the Fire Dog from City of Orange Shelby and Nellie from Garden Grove PD and Hancho the Gun Detection Dog (Pax and Tora we missed you but sent you some stockings and gifts for your handlers as well!) We all had so much fun and even got to see K9 Hancho in action detecting some shell casings! Who’s your favorite? We couldn’t pick. They were all AMAZING!! Thank you to all these dedicated handlers who work and train along with educating kids and the many community events they attend. We all appreciate your service year round. Busy busy! Ten rescues came to visit our warehouse this weekend for needed supplies to help them continue to save lives. Listening to their stories of heartbreak to celebrations - all of them working tirelessly 24/7. From owner dumping to abandonment to hoarding, it’s non-stop. They carry an extremely heavy load day after day. Our hope is to free up some of their funds so they can have more available for medical, transport, training, and other expenses. Together they donated thousands of pounds of food and supplies to help our animals in need here in So Cal. We were lucky enough to meet all the reps and learn more about their products and services. Years ago when I lost my housing and was living in my RV with all my dogs Darcy reached out and told me to stop by so she could help me with dog food and supplies. It was a very low point in my life and she loaded my RV up with anything that I needed and then just sat and talked with me. I’ll never forget that from her! Now years later she has a warehouse that rescues can go shop at. Please give them a follow and watch the incredible work they do. 🥹💓

Yesterday I met up with Darcie Copeland the Founder of @spoofdawgrescue SpoofDawg to the Rescue a 501c3 non-profit organization that donates pet food and supplies to animal rescue groups and is always one of the major donors during emergencies such as California wildfires and other disasters. Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc. is very proud to have been counted as one of SppofDawg’s first rescue organizations when she started in 2017! Darcie hit it out of the ballpark yesterday‼️ We are so grateful and thankful to Darcie for her generous donations of food and supplies and 400 custom SHR dog tags for our fosters. That means sooooo much to the huskies and that’s one less thing for us to worry about in the foreseeable future. We are always extremely touched whenever anyone extends to us an act of kindness and are humbly grateful 🙏🏼🌷🌸💜❣️🌹
