We’re coming up on almost a year of having Patti. I really can’t believe she hasn’t gotten more interest. She is amazing around other animals- cat, dogs, chickens, horses, pigs- she can be around it all! She’s the dog we choose to dog test anyone new coming in because she has such playful and welcoming energy. She had a rough start in life with people so she can be a bit standoffish at first but once she knows you’re good then she’s a really awesome dog. Let’s help her find her forever home!
I have a Texas Corgi Case update coming soon for you all but in the meantime can we take a moment to appreciate how healthy the puppies look now? They went to the vet to get checked out and they got the works. Pups are being treated for Giardia, whipworms and tapeworms- how many worms were inside them?! 😅 They’ve had their first round of vaccines and were also treated for fleas before they arrived to California. Everyone is happy and healthy and will be ready to be adopted in a couple weeks. If you’re interested in adopting a corgi puppy please let me know!
Ok but how has Sasha and Patti not found their forever homes yet? Both of these girls are so sweet!
Patti the pit bull has been with us the longest and she’s really the best! She makes friends with anyone and everyone.
Sasha the husky is a really easy dog and just loves to play and go for walks.

They are both located in foster homes in Riverside County.
Never have I ever had pigs who were underweight. I can’t even imagine how long they went without proper food, water and nutrition. Their skin is the worst I’ve ever seen. Their eyes are red. And they walk around wanting to itch themselves on everything. Tomorrow we have the vet headed out to make a house call to see what we can do to give them some relief. They also need to be fixed at some point.
I just want to tell everyone that the way they were living was with a “rescue” and I use that term lightly for them. This was completely unacceptable the way they were living. So sad to see the conditions they were in. Diane Bedford of Woofy Acres should be in jail for the way she’s treated these animals. Millions of dollars in donations and clearly not a single cent was going to the animals.
Can’t wait for these boys to start feeling more comfortable with me and medically. They didn’t want to eat the first day they were here but luckily they’re getting more comfortable here. Today was the first day they came up to smell me!
I’m mad. I’ve been seeing the posts about Woofy Acres and Diane Bedford but I’ve never had a personal experience with this situation until yesterday. The way these animals are being housed is horrifying. The smell is unbearable. The water that they’re drinking is absolutely disgusting.
Animals there are suffering and us small rescues are trying to step in and clean up the mess with very little help.
Huge shoutout to Sam from @kennelevictionrescue for taking the lead on this huge undertaking. She’s been driving from LA to Vegas to try and help these dogs. She’s also paying a neighbor to help feed and give water to everyone.
It’s all a mess really and a lot of these animals are from LA Shelters. From one bad situation to another. 😩
I’m in Fort Worth, Texas for a couple days for my boyfriend’s work. I wasn’t planning on doing a rescue mission while I was out here but the universe said otherwise. My friend reached out for some help at a house where the property owner passed away the day we arrived here. The house ended up being only 25 mins away from where we were staying. I headed to @tractorsupply for some supplies and got to work. I already committed to stopping in Vegas on the way home to help with the hoarding case out there so I’m limited on crates and room in my van. So today I’ll be taking 4 puppies back to CA with me so they can see the vet asap. Then I’ll make a plan for the rest of the dogs. All of them are intact and need to be fixed asap. I’ve offered to pay to have all of them spayed and neutered. I would also like to send flea meds for everyone to try and help with the infestation that’s happening there. If you can help in any way, please reach out. If you live near Azle and can help transport these guys to spay neuter appts please let me know asap.

Years ago when I lost my housing and was living in my RV with all my dogs Darcy reached out and told me to stop by so she could help me with dog food and supplies. It was a very low point in my life and she loaded my RV up with anything that I needed and then just sat and talked with me. I’ll never forget that from her! Now years later she has a warehouse that rescues can go shop at. Please give them a follow and watch the incredible work they do. 🥹💓
Coco got some new headshots done today and he’s hoping he catches an adopter’s eye! This little guy has really come out of his shell and is now playful with the other dogs, gets excited to see me and is food motivated! He’s a sweet little guy weighing in at 11 lbs. Pretty easy mellow man but needs a patient person as he’s still learning to trust people.
Meet Belle. She was a recent owner surrender to us. Sadly the family had to downsize and move into an apartment and it just wasn’t going to be a fair environment to move an energetic dog to. Belle is very outgoing and social and loves to greet new people. She likes other dogs and is playful. She’s a medium energy girl and is very silly and sweet.
Pickles is the cutest little pug man looking for his forever home. He’s very playful with other dogs, loves to chase after rope toys and play tug with you and is an active guy. He’s great with other dogs and animals. Please share this guy and help us get the word out. We know his home is out there. 💓
