For SPLOT’s first ever longplay, there could only be one name. 𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 comes from @dadan.k11 – the author of the label’s first release in 2022 and, since then, a producer whose work has reached Berlin’s @awkwardlysocialberlin and @sneaker_social_club , one of the UK club scene’s essential imprints. His music has been part of SPLOT’s DNA from the beginning, so opening the album chapter with anyone else never really made sense. Across eight tracks, 𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 channels different shades of cityscape music into a raw, minimal and rough-edged vision of urban pressure, low-end architecture and dubwise space. Subtly drawing from the layout, atmosphere and everyday rhythms of Sępolno, a district in Wrocław, the album sits somewhere between experiment, dubstep and grime – filtering the sound of the city through 𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗼’s unmistakable signature. Starting 2026 strong, 𝗦𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗧 introduces @rethe_music , a leading figure of the local Wrocław techno scene, who has reshaped his trademark sound with broken structures, weight and low-end pressure specifically for this release. 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 came together organically as a series of personal breakthroughs translated into sound, with each track occupying a distinctly different rhythmic space. As we enter the final stretch of preparations for LAS Festival 2026, where we’re once again curating a bass-heavy line-up packed with iconic artists. We’re continuing our biannual tradition by popping into our favourite Kraków club for a cosy bass-heavy feast in the intimate space of Sekta Selekta, filled with good vibes and the smiles of its wonderful community. SPLOT – collective, club night, record label. Founded in 2019 by Glassz, Guiltee and dadan karambolo with a goal of challenging and broadening the ideas of club music existing in our local scene. Having the mission of spreading our fascination with broken beats, dub, techno, UK bass and anything in between at heart, we’ve already had the pleasure of hosting dozens of renowned artists such as Objekt, Skee Mask, Batu, Mala, Barker, Zenker Brothers, Darwin, Rhyw, Low End Activist, Doc Scott, Forest Drive West or Neffa-T and trailblazed our own bass-path through the city soundscape, releasing local talents such as dadan karambolo, IWANN, Yes Stanley, 2Shy, Noodles142, Entire, Donija, Blu Terra; as well as two compilations: Crystalline VA and Seekers VA, both defining the contours of the label between local-gems discoveries as well as emblematic international producers in the bass field. 🇬🇧 ENG BELOW I feel like the best way to describe what we’re trying to do with SPLOT — and what I personally look for in music — is experimental club music. For me, it’s exactly these experiments that are the essence of what I’d like SPLOT to be — whether we’re talking about our label or our events. This constant search for a space in between — between genres, between styles — within that experimental approach is what excites me the most. Even if it’s sometimes riskier in the context of parties — in terms of how many people will show up, or how many will actually connect with it. I still believe that challenging these established ideas is a crucial part of what we’re trying to do. And honestly — that’s something I really care about.
