less than two weeks till Lina and I give you Peach World 🙂↕️ here are some bits and pieces of processes on my side. We would love to see you there 🖤 @peach.house.forever 🐕 @joyandwhimsy_
Starting off our first weekend long event of the year.. the first event back at our second home @echoandbounce_ .. the first time seeing many of your faces in a long while 🤍 Thursday night Lina (Naarm) and Alice (whimsy) open up their hearts to the public with Peach World !
“Our exhibition Peach World brings us back together to Meanjin, to reflect on place, memory, and our shifting meaning of the word ‘home’. The distance felt since Lina moved away has reshaped our sense of connection ~ reframing it through longing, connection & return. Our work for this show reflects on absence and presence, reflecting on how memory softens and distorts, how spaces once inhabited become charged with new significance and how affection deepens across distance. This exhibition marks our first exhibition together for a long while ~ this place, although no longer quite the same, still holds the memory of what once was and what still is.“
Peach World opening will run from 6pm till late, AND it’s ramen night !!!! or you can pop in anytime over the weekend !
Tickets are available now in our bio.. at this point Friday night is still a secret but the option to buy blind is there lol 😛 for our big fans and our weekend combo lovers

We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Jagera and Turbal people, and all First Nations people on these lands. May sovereignty never be ceded, and may we move gently as these lands remain a place for connection, gathering, community, art and care. We acknowledge the ongoing resistance to colonisation - Always was always will be Aboriginal land.
last couple of days in my little bubble 🪑 first 5 pictures are what’s been coming out of my brain onto linoleum and paper. Glass I found at the op shop (in love). Picture I found from 1914 of the church I used to live across the road from. Billie and I on a foraging walk (normal walk except I pick up leaves and she gets impatient).
delved through photos I took in 2023 for the tiny little joys poster these were my 4 shortlists & I think they have never been posted 🦢 bonus picture of me from the same roll that I think is nice :) in order; Baden-Baden, Copenhagen, Paddington, Belgrade. Yippeeeee

Um. Straight from the heart. Last year I was living in Germany and I experienced a few very big losses back to back. I made a lot of art in response. I wrote a song/poem (?) because I never got to say goodbye to the first person I ever shared music with. It is about softball and growing up and the weight of a memory. I paired a snippet with a carving I made around the same time, also about memory. I am taking things as they come. I am grateful for friends like Jess. I am grateful to have something so personal to me immortalised in print 🫶🫶🫶
