“There are many fairy tales and legends in which wishes are granted. Some wishes remain on the wish list forever and others come true, as in the television programme ‚Wunschprogramm‘. The work with the three wooden hazelnuts is based on the well-known film ‚Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella‘ (1973). In the Czechoslovakian version of Grimm’s fairy tale, Cinderella does not simply accept her fate and suffering, but takes up the fight against injustice – with cunning, humour and the three magic hazelnuts. The Pantheon is a building located in the historic center of ancient Rome, built as a temple dedicated to all past deities, present and future of the world. This work is inspired by the Roman structure by changing the dedication. Money is transformed into a new religiosity, which calls for a modern space of worship that will exalt banknotes from past, present and future eras around the world.
