Last night was one of those simple moments that hits you harder than you expect. A room full of parents, paint, wine, and a fundraiser that @carykendall and Sara pulled off with so much heart. I didn’t think much of it going in… then I sat down, picked up a brush, and remembered how good it feels to make something just because it lights you up.
As moms, as business owners, as the ones who keep everything moving, it’s way too easy to forget that the creative part of us needs fuel too. I walked in tired and walked out inspired. There’s something about putting color on a canvas that makes the rest of life feel a little less chaotic and a lot more grounded.
If you’ve been running on empty lately, I hope this is your reminder to do something that reconnects you to yourself. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to become a project. It just has to feel like you again.
