The past weekends class with @david_wampler_shooting and @omi_ppg was fantastic. It was the nuggets I needed to help put everything together. This was my last run of the class and was my best run with 25 A, 6C and 1 D (on the far target 🤦). Was overall happy with the next level gear I was pushed to use and still maintained accuracy (don't worry about the one delta).

Stage 1 from 2026 PSA Shootout. This @sigsauerinc P211-GTO I cannot say how much it makes shooting so much easier. The @holosunoptics 507 Comp just tracks and doesn't even leave the window. It barely even comes off the plate. Thanks to @thesuazo for getting it to me. Words cannot describe how appreciative I am and how humbling it is.

Everyone knows that 2011s like to be well oiled in order to function properly. I cannot say enough good things about @specmud . I wiped out the factory oil and put some @specmud on it. Then shot about 600 rds through it in about an hour and a half. The rails and barrel were still coated with the lubricant like before I started to shoot. Then shot another 200 rds the following day and it was still there. Today I shot approximately 200 more rounds and still it's there. He is a chemist by trade so I'm not surprised by how well this works. The best part is when I put this on my @infinity_firearms LO gun after 1500 rds in 2 days I cleaned it by just wiping it off with a microfiber cloth. No scraping, no brushing, just wipe and reapply. I always have it with me so just let me know and I'll let you put some on your firearm.

Shooting fast + shooting accurate = seeing faster. I explored that this stage and pushed it. The one miss I had I knew it as the shot went off. The dot pulled off the plate as I was pulling the trigger. As for the reloads I haven't been practicing them purposely so I don't know why or how they were so smooth. I was in a little exploration mode in this as well and it worked out.

One thing we have not talked about yet is water resistance. This is a gun after being shot in hard rain all day at a local uspsa match. Our lubricant is much more resistant to washing out than lithium complex lubricant (the most common "thick" lubes on the market). Thanks to @jasonpegg for the photo and feedback!
Let's talk about viscosity - specmud is thick enough to stay where you put it over extended firing schedules, but is not sticky or thick like grease. The ingredients used to thicken it are far less temperature sensitive than more commonly used lithium complex products, meaning ours will serve you better over a wider range of temperatures. #specmud
