Well It was an honour to record Shoogleniftyâs 9th studio album âACID CROFT Vol.9. This band has been a huge inspiration, ever since their very first release Venus in Tweeds.. an album that changed everything for me musically and showed what could be done with trad instruments mixed with modern sounds. Iâm not sure if Croft No. Five (and subsequently Treacherous Orchestra) wouldâve been quite the same if it wasnât for the Shoogles trailblazing the way!
We recorded ACID CROFT Vol.9 at Watercolour studios in Ardgour and the album was produced and mixed by the fantastic Andy Bell of Hudson Records. Well done everyone! đ

Great day out on the Cairngorm Plateau with my bro Kris. High winds and great views in between the cloudy white outs. The plateau is what I would imagine walking on another planet would feel like.
