Golly! The spirit of #EchoParkRising was within me yesterday, even without hosting in my own space (and missing that dearly). The most amazing feelings included:
1. The familiar sensory overload that comes with seeing beautiful new & familiar faces all day long, while attempting to sell stuff and being way overstimulated by amazing music from every direction;
2. The pride in seeing so many gorgeous people flood the streets of the neighborhood in which I still live, overtaking cars, filling sidewalks & street lanes; emoting, enjoying & erupting with joy; so many lovely freaks in so many different styles of clothing & modes of expression, letting go & letting loose!
3. (and the best –) Being recognized as Miss Jupiter and knowing there are fans who can’t wait to see her stalk the streets of EP again; and talking with tons of people who still remember Spacedust, miss it so, and want to see it come back too! Jasmine, Jane, Tori, Anastasia (to name a few) THANK YOU so much for sharing, supporting, rallying, and cheering me on. It’s VITAL that I hear your voices. Everyone, please keep the encouragement going, bc there are many avenues I could go down in this life, but bringing back that store baby even better than before and being a part of this radiant community & event again are super high on my list, such a huge part of my ongoing dreams!! 🌸 I can’t believe I got to do EPR for 9 years straight and always dreaded it (bc it’s a literal shitshow lol) but still want it back so badly, lol that’s LOVE right there!!! 🪷💫
