Summer is coming — and I’ve been pouring so much love into this collection behind the scenes. ☀️🌊 This lineup feels like warm skin after a beach day, salty air through open windows, late sunsets, slow mornings, and nights you wish could last forever. I wanted this collection to feel nostalgic, comforting, a little playful, and completely summer. I’ve been holding onto these ideas for a while and I’m so excited to finally share them with you. Hey, happy Monday! Over the weekend we hung out @tfbrewing for the Mayfest lager festival and sold our goods alongside lots of other local creatives. We appreciate everyone who came out to support. It was also really nice to see many of you show Jose @o_mar4415 lots of love. He’s looking great and has been healing really nicely. If you couldn’t make it out because you weren’t in town or celebrating Mother’s Day a little earlier, you could find me @fisherbrewing this Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM for the @fisherartmarket . Now I’m back to pouring lots of candles for the summer collection that I have been dreaming up for you all.

✨ 9 weeks ago, we launched The Secret Scent Society ✨ A BIG new chapter for us. 🤍 What started as a dream (and something I talked myself out of more times than I can count) has quickly become one of the most exciting things we’ve ever created. And after sending out our first TWO candles to members, I already find myself dreaming up June’s scent. 🕯️ Which means… 🍍 THE SUMMER FRUIT SERIES officially begins next month ✨ From June through September, each candle will spotlight a different fruit — layered into something elevated, cozy, nostalgic, and magical. I recently sent out a poll to our Close Friends group with Secret Scent Society members, and pineapple won by a landslide 🍍✨ So June will be my challenge: creating the perfect layered pineapple scent that feels beautiful, balanced, and special. hi, i’m marcelino — owner & founder of soymurga 🤍 we’ve grown to over 4k here and that feels really big to me, so i wanted to reintroduce myself and share a little more of the human behind it all. i make yummy smelling things like candles, soaps, and other special little things you can feel good about bringing into your space. what started as a hobby has slowly turned into something real… something i’ve nurtured for over 5 years now. soymurga has always been more than just a product to me. i want it to feel like a moment — something that inspires, elevates, and gently shifts your mood. my goal has always been to create an affordable kind of luxury that still feels intentional and special. i think the moment it all clicked for me was when i started sharing my creations with people in my life and hearing how much they loved them. it made me realize that if i kept showing up and trying, i could build something meaningful. my days don’t always look the same, but they usually start with coffee, dog cuddles, and checking in on my chickens. from there it’s a mix of answering dms and emails, pouring candles, making soap, packing orders, or doing shop drop-offs around northern utah. and when things are slower, i’m probably out on a coffee date or spending time with my partner — always trying to find that balance (some days better than others). i’m deeply obsessed with the act of pouring — candle wax, soap batter, even filling sprays… there’s something about it that feels so soothing to me. and a little honesty moment… things definitely take longer than people think, especially soap bars. A few days ago, my cousin Jonathan and I picked up labels and stocked up on glass for upcoming projects. The labels are for our final spring candle restock and Candle of the Month orders going out Wednesday (Thursday at the latest), and the glass is for future ideas already in motion ✨ I’ve been moving a little slower lately, trying to be more present in life—and while that’s shifted my pace, it hasn’t taken away any of the excitement. I’m still dreaming deeply about what’s next. Thank you all so much for the love and check-ins. It truly meant everything while I took time to be with Jose. We’ve felt so supported—by friends near and far. Now we’re home, he’s resting, and I’m easing back into the rhythm—packing orders, catching up, and preparing for what’s ahead. Summer will likely be a smaller drop as I begin working on something magical, whimsical, and full of charm 🌿
