After a year of planning and prep, this site responsive installation out of Phragmites is 3x bigger than I originally planned and only a week behind my self imposed deadline. Not too too bad. It maps out the confluence of the West River and Utley Brook in Londonderry. Once nature takes over and the grass grows, viewers will walk along the paths of the rivers. @sovtarts
It’s the perfect time to wander the grounds, take in the sculpture park, and step inside for a dose of inspiration. Whether you’re here for a quiet stroll or a full afternoon of art, there’s no better season to explore.

Construction is moving right along at SVAC’s new building, and the gallery spaces are really starting to take shape. From the warm wood finishes to the emerging architectural details, you can already feel how these spaces will welcome art—and visitors—in a whole new way.

Week two complete!! ✔️ My largest Phragmites installation @sovtarts is getting closer to being finished!
I am about 2/3 done and will be finishing my part soon. Then we will all watch as nature completes her part of this land art piece… 🌾💚🌱
It has been wonderful to see field trip visitors responding to other students’ artwork! 🎨 Moments like these highlight the joy of creativity, curiosity, and connection as young artists engage with and inspire one another.
