Honoured to have been invited to host a conversation at the Liberal Democrats’ first ever Spring Business Summit. I had the privilege of sitting down with Deputy Leader Daisy Cooper MP and really getting under the bonnet of what the Lib Dems stand for, in a meaningful discussion alongside leaders and representatives from some of the world’s most influential organisations, all focused on the future of the UK economy. A few things really stayed with me: 1. The importance of balancing business growth with the real needs of people and communities - not just what works on paper, but what actually works in real life 2. Leadership isn’t just about talking well, it’s about stepping up and driving real initiatives that create change 3. A clear intention to build a future shaped by compassionate capitalism - where success and responsibility go hand in hand And I’ll be honest… sitting in that room, one thought kept coming back to me: My God, does our world need leadership that is genuinely committed to making a difference. I’m incredibly grateful to MUMDO SOCIAL Magazine @mundosocial for the 4 page featuring my journey as an expat from Panama! As the Founder of @mumbleforum and @mhouse_agency , I’ve dedicated my career to storytelling and branding, focusing on how we connect emotionally. Becoming a mother opened my eyes to the biases we face, and I realized I wanted more than the “just a mum” label. This sparked my project, “Rebranding Motherhood,” aimed at empowering ambitious women who seek to break free from traditional parenting norms. My experience moving from Panama to Milan at 19 taught me the importance of finding your tribe, no matter where you are. Community engagement is vital; it’s about building authentic connections that drive brand loyalty and advocacy.
