However you slice it, writing a book is sometimes a slog. It’s Google Docs and overcast afternoons, rounds of edit and notes from your editor that make you take a walk before you dig in and respond. And it’s just lonely sometimes, typing in sock feet until you burn out or there’s something else you have to do.
I started dreaming of an idea of a book party somewhere along that path. Last night, that party came to life at the
@scstatemuseum because of the people in these photos, as well as a mini army of staff helmed by
@meeghanellen . We did it together.
