Coming straight from The Hague, @soundsofvence (co-founder of VG+) brings vinyl sets that travel across three continents. Long, immersive grooves that let the music tell its own story.
Joining him is Hangzhou vinyl veteran @dj_vinylsick , turning his massive record collection into a multi-dimensional sound journey.
And behind it all, @twelvowitu the force driving Vinyl Session, keeping the night strictly Vinyl Only.
No gimmicks, no extra frills—just three vinyl masters, guiding you back to the raw, breathing pulse of the dance floor.
Hong Kong-based party VG+ continues its dialogue with Seoul’s underground institution RING, following a memorable anniversary celebration last September that left a lasting impression. So much so, in fact, that the crew decided to invite more of the club’s residents to the city.
Next up is Hakim, a resident DJ and operator at RING who has helped shape the club’s identity since its early days. Working within its vinyl-only environment, he has developed an approach rooted in deep digging and instinctive dancefloor storytelling, letting records—not genre boundaries—guide the journey. Raised in Seoul and shaped by years as a guitarist, Hakim brings a musician’s sensitivity to the booth, with a natural feel for tone, tension and release.
His sets move fluidly through dubby, hypnotic grooves, unexpected detours and melodic edges, tied together with subtle, witty transitions and a quiet but undeniable propulsion. For VG+, it’s another meeting of kindred dancefloor minds—vinyl only, with Hakim making his way from RING to Hong Kong.
VG+ is built around one simple idea: the dance floor deserves time. Not quick transitions, not constant resets—time to let a groove settle, tension build, and the room arrive somewhere together.
For this edition, we’re returning to the format that defines VG+: one guest, all night long. A six-hour vinyl-only session is a different discipline entirely—selection, pacing, and control have to be precise with DJs experienced enough to carry the room from the first record to the last without ever losing the thread.
On February 28, we host Matthias (Berlin), the driving force behind Superluminal—a label and long-running event series that has become a reference point in the city’s underground. As a DJ and producer, his sound balances warmth and swing with weight and clarity, shaped by years of digging and countless hours behind the decks in clubs and festivals worldwide.
This is a rare chance to hear a true craftsman in his element: vinyl only, extended, uncompromising—a full night to witness the work of a master, one record at a time.

Shaped by his years within the Tunisian music scene, he has been on the decks in Hong Kong since 2021, finding a new home at the influential 宀 club. In 2023, Vence co-founded VG+, a vinyl-centric endeavor that includes a club night, online record store, community, and media channel. VG+ marks a fresh presence in Asia, dedicated to showcasing everlasting club music.
