VG+, this time with maxi.milian at host duties, continues its dialogue with Seoul's underground institution RING, following a memorable anniversary celebration last September that left a lasting impression.
Next up is Hakim, a resident DJ and operator at RING who has helped shape the club's identity since its early days. Working within its vinyl-only environment, he has developed an approach rooted in deep digging and instinctive dancefloor storytelling, letting records-not genre boundaries—guide the journey. Raised in Seoul and shaped by years as a guitarist, Hakim brings a musician's sensitivity to the booth, with a natural feel for tone, tension and release.
His sets move fluidly through dubby, hypnotic grooves, unexpected detours and melodic edges, tied together with subtle, witty transitions and a quiet but undeniable propulsion. For VG+, it's another meeting of kindred dancefloor minds-vinyl only, with Hakim making his way from RING to Hong Kong.

maxi.milian is a Hong Kong-based DJ and creator of the “Mail in a Mix” mix series, one half of DJ duo enzyme and representative of VG+.
Born in 1990s Hong Kong before settling abroad, Max took a post-covid opportunity to move back and is now settled firmly in support of the city’s underground musical foundations. His preference for vinyl records came naturally; after a devoted past in climate finance, his affinity with simple workflows and tactility ultimately gave rise to something special enough to pursue full-time. The stripped-back nature of the medium, its clarity of expression and its vulnerability allowed him to find meaning through his own hands and through the hands of other artists beyond anything he’d felt before.
To produce memorable and emotional sets, he relies on his instinct to simply play the right record at the right time. The evolution of this instinct, his sound, and his skillset is well-told by the archive of recordings from his homegrown mix series, “Mail in a Mix” (anagram of his name), where the mix’s records are unwrapped on the spot between transitions. Through this practice, he learned to create cohesion under pressure, and the result of these drills is evident in each set he plays. His taste ranges from traditional and modern electro, 80s house and Italo to turn-of-the-millennium trance, progressive, psytrance, and occasionally lo-fi house and French touch.
Today, maxi.milian splits his time between VG+, alongside teammates Sunsiaré, Vence, and Anyss, and his duo project enzyme with partner suz eq.

VG+ is built around one simple idea: the dance floor deserves time. Not quick transitions, not constant resets—time to let a groove settle, tension build, and the room arrive somewhere together.
For this edition, we’re returning to the format that defines VG+: one guest, all night long. A six-hour vinyl-only session is a different discipline entirely—selection, pacing, and control have to be precise with DJs experienced enough to carry the room from the first record to the last without ever losing the thread.
On February 28, we host Matthias (Berlin), the driving force behind Superluminal—a label and long-running event series that has become a reference point in the city’s underground. As a DJ and producer, his sound balances warmth and swing with weight and clarity, shaped by years of digging and countless hours behind the decks in clubs and festivals worldwide.
This is a rare chance to hear a true craftsman in his element: vinyl only, extended, uncompromising—a full night to witness the work of a master, one record at a time.
Faxtory is a Hong Kong–based DJ and resident at 宀 Club, known for a genre-fluid approach anchored in techno—restless, rhythmic, and built for late-night momentum.
Influenced by late-90s and early-2000s records, and driven by a constant appetite for modern, boundary-pushing production, his sound is defined by tension-building and progression, with a taste for introspective tracks that carry slow-burning emotional weight—expressed through patient blends, layering, and subtle shifts.
Beyond the booth, Faxtory is the driving force behind Distrikt—a music collective and club night with a vision to push the sonic boundaries of Hong Kong’s community-driven underground scene. Built on deep trust in curation and a commitment to showcasing proper music above all else, Distrikt serves as a platform that spotlights local talent while integrating international touring artists—shaping nights that feel intimate, uncompromising, and future-facing.
His ethos is rooted in the energy of tightly connected scenes and the belief that the best parties are more than lineups—they’re shared experiences that help a city’s underground culture grow louder, bolder, and more adventurous over time.
Raised in the vibrant city of Paris, Anyss is a rising star in Hong Kong’s underground music scene, captivating audiences with his deep passion for electronic music. A dedicated vinyl digger, he seeks out rare records that connect the past and present, crafting sets that are both groovy and danceable, infused with an ethereal, spiritual essence.
Drawing from the rich sounds of techno acid house, trance, and breakbeat, Anyss creates an immersive atmosphere that invites listeners to lose themselves on the dance floor. His performances resonate with a transcendent energy, having shared the stage with notable artists like Roza Terenzi, Bliss Inc, Soyoon and DJ Wild. He regularly spins at VG+, a vinyl-only night at Mihn Club that showcases talents such as S.O.N.S, Quest, and Carl H.
With his electrifying presence and a growing influence in the scene, Anyss is becoming a true force in the techno community. Get ready to lose yourself in a journey of sound, where each set weaves a story and connects everyone in the shared experience of music.
月尾最後一日渡如年, VG+ 帶嚟區內同本地潛力銀河游擊手。
