Back in the spring of 2024 I had the opportunity to tag along on @ueberyou & @thehightimescool epic tour through Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia & Turkey, and discover the local D.I.Y. Punk Rock scenes along roads less travelled. We were incredibly fortunate to meet, hang out and party with some remarkable individuals along the way, but to also hear about the struggles and hardships people endure due to the rise in autocracy and authoritarianism. «Restless in the East» is a 20-minute love letter to the worldwide D.I.Y.
