The edge_Hi-Technology R&D Office | BIM Awards Top2 BIM Technical Design Project 2024-2026 . 동대구역은 철도·버스·지하철이 집결된 대구광역시의 핵심 교통 거점이다. 동대구복합환승센터와 신세계백화점 등 대규모 상업시설의 조성으로 인해, 동대구역 일대는 대구의 주요 상업·문화 중심지로 빠르게 재편되고 있다. 뛰어난 교통 접근성과 확장된 상업·문화 인프라는 이 지역을 비즈니스 활동이 집중되는 핵심 지역으로 성장시켰다. 이와 같은 상업적 성장 흐름 속에서, 동대구역 일대에는 R&D 연구개발 시설을 중심으로 한 융복합 프로그램이 계획되고 있다. 본 계획은 업무, 문화·예술, 첨단 연구개발 기능을 하나의 공간 체계로 통합하여, 상업·문화·기술 발전이 균형을 이루는 새로운 도시 거점을 조성하는 데 목적이 있다. These questions lead to a discussion that suggests space should function as more than just a physical environment—it must serve as a platform where people, culture, and technology converge. Architecture is not only the backdrop of human life but also the most intuitive medium of exchange. For sustainable development, space must enable the accumulation of new experiences and records. The concept of ‘Hybrid’ defines the nature of space through the two pillars of digital and culture, integrating spatial variability and interactive elements of high-tech to create a more flexible and open environment. Yeongdeok Seokri Village Wildfire-Damaged Vacant House Remodeling Type 01 - Expansion of Roof Mass . Revitalizing Bicycle Hub Stations along the Yeongdeok Blue Road Due to the large-scale wildfires in Gyeongbuk in 2025, many vacant houses appeared throughout the villages. In response, this project aims to restore these abandoned houses and promote village revitalization by utilizing the “Yeongdeok Blue Road,” a popular cycling route for riders. The vacant houses will be transformed into bicycle hub stations, creating resting and maintenance points along the route. These hubs will naturally connect village-to-village cycling courses, providing riders with spaces to rest, repair their bicycles, and continue their journey while contributing to the regeneration of the local community. . 2025 The Architect's Chair Competition Submit "The Reposition" . The Reposition Transformable Chair reinterprets seating as a flexible interaction between the body, object, and space, enabling multiple sitting positions through simple transformation rather than complex mechanisms. It balances movement and stability while combining the warmth of craftsmanship with the precision of industrial design. The chair features a wooden backrest designed with a 106-degree ergonomic angle that follows the natural curvature of the human body, paired with a durable metal base to provide comfort, adaptability, and ease of use. Its curved structure allows chairs to be stacked and interlocked, enhancing spatial efficiency and forming a modular system. Overall, it presents a sustainable design approach where functionality, material contrast, and user experience are seamlessly integrated. . Host Building : 수원 영흥숲공원 수목원 / @haeahn_architecture . Parasitic Architecture transforms the façade within a densely built urban environment by introducing new parasitic elements that alter the inherent qualities of buildings or urban contexts. Depending on whether it is approached from an urban-scale perspective or at the scale of architectural detail, the influence of the parasitic differs. However, by adding new properties that evolve the existing host, it can offer a renewed perception and viewpoint toward space itself. This project aims to explore the harmony between “Extension of Context” and “Parasitic Architecture” under the theme of “Evolution of Space.” The selected Parasitic Site is the Yeongheung Forest Arboretum in Suwon, chosen as a place where architecture and nature can coexist rather than simply as a compact urban cluster. The existing host is an arboretum space embedded into the ground with an oblique flow. Its diagonal orientation is designed to maximize sunlight absorption by aligning with the sun’s altitude and solar cycle. The parasitic structure approaches this host by overlapping the roof and side, naturally lifting the roof to allow the internal functions of the arboretum to be shared with the natural context of the surrounding environment. This parasitic design enhances air circulation within the interior while maintaining adequate solar exposure. By extending beyond the box-like boundary of the original building, it emphasizes the parasitic elements that protrude outward from the interior. Furthermore, by continuing the flow of the natural park, the design fosters a coexistence between nature and the parasitic architecture.

Amsterdam은 운하 네트워크와 저층 스카이라인으로 형성된 수평 도시로, 도시 전체를 조망하는 수직적 공공 경험이 제한적이다. 이에 전망대와 런웨이를 결합한 수직적 공공 구조물을 제안하여, 도시를 새롭게 읽는 장치를 삽입하고자 한다. 현수대교를 모티브로 한 구조는 슬로프와 브릿지가 연속적으로 연결되며 상승 동선을 형성하고, 조망은 수변 자연과 도심을 향한 두 개의 축으로 분리된다. ‘Hyperspace’ 개념과 연결된 이 구조는 단순한 하중 지지체계를 넘어 공간 경험을 확장하는 장치로 작동한다. 중심 기둥과 캔틸레버 균형 시스템을 통해 공간을 비우고 긴장감을 형성하며, 수평 도시 위에 하나의 수직적 사건으로서 구조와 경험이 일치하는 초월적 장면을 제안한다. . Topic "소용돌이 : 엮이고 만나며 도시와 물결이 하나가 되는 순간" . # 개요 | 본 프로젝트는 ‘유입점’을 중심으로 도시의 흐름을 어떻게 연결하고 조직할 수 있는가에서 출발한다. 도심에서 바라본 수변의 풍경과 수변에서 바라본 도시의 모습에 대한 질문을 통해, 수변공간에서 자연과 사람이 조화롭게 공존할 수 있는 장면을 제안하고자 했다. 이를 위해 투명 유리 바닥을 적용하여 물의 흐름과 보행 동선이 시각적으로 이어지도록 계획하였다. 유리 바닥이라는 재료 선택은 도시 조감에서 바라볼 때 건물이 하나의 채워진 솔리드 매스로 인식되는 것이 아니라, 수변의 자연스러운 흐름이 드러나도록 하기 위함이다. 동선과 흐름이 교차하며 자연스럽게 형성되는 소용돌이는 자연의 움직임을 닮아 있으며, 이를 건축적 형태로 확장하였다. 이에 따라 본 프로젝트는 유입점에서 시작된 동선의 흐름을 기반으로 매스를 구성하는 전략을 설정하였다. # 구조개요 | 브릿지 구조는 현수교 구조 시스템을 모티브로 한 하이브리드 구조 개념으로 계획되었다. 상부 브릿지 데크는 인장 부재를 통해 지지되며, 이를 통해 브릿지의 자중 및 사용 하중을 효율적으로 분산·전달하는 구조 방식을 취한다. 이러한 인장 구조는 브릿지를 ‘잡아 들어 올리는’ 개념으로 작동하며, 상부 구조에 작용하는 휨모멘트를 감소시키는 역할을 한다. 또한 브릿지 기둥 하부에서는 사선 방향의 보조 구조체를 적용하여 상부 인장 구조와 하부 압축 지지 구조가 동시에 하중을 분담하도록 계획하였다. 이중 구조 시스템을 통해 수직 하중뿐만 아니라 수평 하중에 대한 구조적 안정성을 확보하고, 하중 전달 경로를 명확히 하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이와 같은 구조 전략은 단일 구조 시스템에 의존하지 않고, 인장과 압축이 복합적으로 작용하는 구조적 균형을 통해 브릿지의 안정성과 공간적 개방감을 동시에 구현하고자 한 것이다. . Designer, Visualization,Model | @sonny.arc # Daegu Metropolitan Central Assembly History Project # Renovation and New Construction Project for the History Museum . # 이 프로젝트에서 기존 대구광역시 의회 건물과 신축 예술캠퍼스를 연결하는 열린 투명 매스와 투명 브릿지는 Parasitic 개념을 바탕으로 한 공간 장치이다. 이 구조는 단순히 두 건물을 잇는 통로가 아니라, 기존 건물과 캠퍼스 건물 사이에 끼어들어 새로운 흐름을 만들어내는 역할을 한다. 이 건물은 약 70년 동안 대구 도심 한가운데에 자리하며, 중앙로를 대표하는 근대 건축물로서의 가치를 지니고 있다. 나는 이 건물을 단순히 오래된 건물이 아니라, 도시의 시간을 담고 있는 공간으로 바라보았다. 기존 의회 건물은 박물관으로, 건너편 공터 부지는 예술캠퍼스로 계획하고, 두 건물을 투명한 구조로 연결했다. 이 연결 공간은 기존 건물과 신축 건물을 관통하며, 사람들이 자연스럽게 오가도록 계획하였다. 이를 통해 과거의 닫힌 의회 공간이, 누구나 통과하고 머무를 수 있는 열린 공간으로 바뀌게 된다. # 투명한 매스와 브릿지는 근대에서 현대로 넘어가는 변화의 과정을 시각적으로 보여준다. 많은 사람들이 이 공간을 지나가는 모습 자체가 하나의 장면이 되고, 도시 속에서 시간이 흐르고 변화하고 있음을 드러낸다. 외장 재료 역시 이러한 개념을 담고 있다. 1970~80년대 의회 건물에 사용되었던 타일 재료를 그대로 재현하는 대신, 조각처럼 깨진 형태로 표현했었다. 이는 기존 건축이 해체되면서 보여지는 순환슬로프 공간은 주변 도심의 시선을 연결하고, 의회의 역사기록관을 담고 있다........ 2021 당시 프로젝트는 기존 건물을 그대로 보존하는데서 멈추지 않고, 도시의 중심에 있는 근대 건축이 오늘날 어떤 방식으로 다시 사용될 수 있는지를 보여주고자 한다. 투명한 연결 공간과 새로운 동선은 과거와 현재를 이어주며, 대구 도심 속에서 살아 있는 건축으로 다시 작동할 수 있게 하였다. . # 대구광역시 의회 리노베이션+신축 마스터플랜 프로젝트 # Project Season | 2021.09.01 ~ 2021.12.10 / 2025 Competition # 2021 DesignStudio II 건축학부장 작품우수상 | 구찬우,송종은 교수님

The HANSpace Museum_Soul of Korean Heritage KICA The Crystal Scale Prize 2025, Honorable Mention Top5/395 2025 KICA Invited International DDP Exhibition . 한국문화건축학회,ANU 2025 차세대문화공간공모전 국제초대전 수상작 Tutoring @haeahn_architecture Exhibition @ddp_seoul 2025.11.21-11.27 주최 @anu_design_group_official / 한국문화건축학회 KICA . 2025 SONNY-Arc MainProject Designer, Visualization @sonny.arc Site 광화문 의정부지 역사유적터 Gwanghwamun, South Korea . # 조선시대 최고 행정기관이 자리했던 의정부지는 오랜 시간 동안 도심 재편과 정치적 변화를 거치며 대부분의 건축적 흔적이 사라졌다. 터만이 남아 역사를 증명하는 상황 속에서 이 장소는 “부재가 만든 존재감”이라는 독특한 가치를 지닌다. 보이는 건 없지만, 도시의 층위 속에 오랫동안 눌려 있던 국가 행정의 기억, 도시의 중심 구조, 조선의 정치 시스템이 흔적의 형태로 남아 있기 때문이다. 현재는 2025년에 복원 후 시범개방을 진행하였으나 결국 터 하나만 남겨진 존재로 자리잡게 되었다. 본 프로젝트는 이러한 ‘빈 터’를 단순히 재정비하는 것이 아니라, 역사적 부재를 다시 읽고 구조화하는 작업에서 출발한다. 발굴을 통해 드러난 ‘정본당’을 비롯한 주요 건물의 흔적, 그 위계와 공간적 질서는 단순한 고고학적 데이터가 아니라 현대적 공간 구성의 근거로 작동한다. 새롭게 제안되는 수장형 뮤지엄은 과거의 공간을 복원하는 동시에, 그 유산을 보존·기록·전시하는 장치로서 기능한다. 이는 복원된 한옥을 단순히 재현물이 아닌 현재의 행위와 지식을 수용하는 구조적 프레임으로 재탄생시키려는 시도이기도 하다. . # '장’은 미완성 건축의 시작으로, 완성된 건물이 아니라 건축이 진행되는 과정을 보여주는 시간의 단면이다. 따라서 단순히 대지의 터를 남기는 것이 아니라, 한옥과 의정부지 터의 역사적 내면을 현대적으로 실체화하는 과정이 중요하다. 한국 유산의 혼을 하나의 공간이라는 그릇에 담아 우리 역사를 들어올려 들춰보는 것이 The HANSpace Museum _Soul of Korean Heritage의 디자인 컨셉이다.
