I thought it would be good to re-introduce myself. New year, year of the horse, the year of energy & confidence - two things I strive for in all aspects of life :) Some people call me Sonaa, which I love because that’s what my Dad has been calling me since I was born. Fun fact: Sonaa was my stage name when I tried to pursue a singing career 15 years ago! As you can see here, I’m a Mom. My favourite thing to be. I bribe my children with sugar, host daily dance parties, & am funnily enough, told to stop singing anytime I try to belt out a Disney banger. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m also married to a guy I met after university but know I would’ve had a major crush on in high school. He’s my Zack Morris. And last, but not least - I have a HUGE passion for making people happy. That’s part of the reason I’m a Wedding Planner! I’ve been in the industry since I was 21 - I’ve had my good days and bad days… but I focus on my wonderful moments every day! Coming home knowing I tried my best to ensure my clients and their families ended one of the most stressful times of their lives with a smile on their face & a pep in their step, gives me SO. MUCH. JOY. The best team, the best best team… I have the best team!!! I sound delirious - but they make me oh so happy! I actually couldn’t do it without them.
