Only voices.
Some quiet, some loud.
Some steady, some trembling.
Some arriving with certainty,
others with nothing but breath.
A city is made this way,
not one story, but many,
crossing in the same light.
Different ages. Different origins.
Different scars, different hopes.
The question is not whether difference exists.
The question is whether we make room for it.
KOR means choir in Albanian.
A choir does not erase voices.
It gives them space,
and asks them to listen.
So we begin with listening.
The facade becomes a score.
Nine strands, nine soundbites, nine voices,
representing the many.
A chorus you can read,
from the street to the skyline.
A ground that welcomes.
Shade where time slows.
Paths where different lives pass close enough
to see each other.
Three presences as one ensemble, three bridges
as arms holding space for all,
measuring growth by what they give back,
and strength by what they can hold.
In the chaos of today’s world,
we choose to build what listens.
We choose to make room for many.
This is KOR.
Harmony through difference.
A shared ground.
A home that holds multitudes.

DESIGN OF THE CHILDREN’S CAMPUS IN TIRANA & MULTIFUNCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT 🇦🇱
We are still searching for the right words to express the overwhelming gratitude, joy, and pride we feel in receiving this incredible honor, and in seeing our work recognized as part of Tiranas’s near-future context. It is beautiful to continue this journey alongside our Albanian family, strengthening our ongoing collaborations.
Our multifunctional development represents Tirana’s Urban Choir: Plural belonging through the embrace of diversity in Albanian voices. This project means a great deal to us, not only for its scale, but for what it stands for.
This achievement was only possible thanks to the remarkable team behind it. Thank you @son.architects , and @motusholdings development for such a meaningful collaboration. And thank you to our dear friend and invited artist @pedro_reyes for adding his voice and unique vision to this project.
We are deeply grateful to the jury for their thoughtful evaluation, and to @akpt_shqiperia2030 and @albanianinvestmentcorporation for their trust and support throughout the process.
We also share this recognition with our fellow Mexican colleague @tallerhectorbarroso , winner of the New Children’s Campus, together placing Mexico’s architectural voice on the global stage.

The complex is conceived as an integrated community, with spaces designed to provide privacy, security, and tranquility.
The facades, with their distinctive architectural details, give the project a strong visual identity.

Looking ahead:
📅 On October 11 & 12, all 12 teams will present their proposals publicly.
🏆 The Jury will select 5 top proposals and one overall winner for the Faith Park masterplan.
💡 Additional proposals may be recognized for specific ideas or programs.
💶 All 5 top teams will receive a prize, and the winning team(s) will be awarded the detailed design contract with the Albanian Investment Corporation.

In the evolving skyline of Durres Albania, these towers rise as a meditation on time, memory, and vision.
Rooted in circular geometry, the design draws from ancient patterns and natural systems, symbols of wholeness and continuity.
Each rotation of the structure reflects on the cycles of life: moving forward, then inward; expanding, then returning.
The shifting plates evoke tectonic movement, cultural layers, and the push-pull between history and aspiration.
The architecture becomes a quiet choreography, a spiral of learning from the past while reaching boldly toward the future.
It invites us to orbit around the essence of place, to remain centered even as we evolve.
