6ft x5ft This text is not mine, that is not describing what i painted but someone elses understanding of it which is often where painting is beyond words as open to multiple interpretations, this one was not planned and evolved through multiple versions ….“Figure in centre is crucified Christ (crown of thorns, cross, arms outstretched). Figures either side - Adam and Eve. Christ in theology is often referred to as the Second Adam - redeeming the sin of the first Adam. Could the red dragon be a snake? The tree as the tree of knowledge of good and evil, part of which grew to become the tree from which the Cross was made. Egg as symbol of new life, fertility and purity. “. #logarithmicprogression. -real title - Its 6 ft tall the painting

This is a series of paintings of scenes with the Angel Gabriel - The expulsion , the annunciation and the revelation of the Quran at Hira . I also painted an oak branch . All were painted in a 6 hr session as part of an event organised by @the.art.club.collective . I had about 2 weeks prior to taking part as mental planning time but all the painting except the gold undercoat was done on one day. I like these types of challenges because it forces you to become a lot more spontaneous and fluid in painting. The work was then displayed as an evening exhibtion with a live band. 12 artists participated amazing work from weaving to video and everything in between

Four of the leopard's heads from the series of 42 that I have been painting, marking the evolution of the hallmark for London. "The symbol of ancient times" part of a visual language that has been developed since 1300 by @thegoldsmithscompany and @londonassayoffice to guarantee the purity of metals traded from the city.

Offering some horse themed oil paintings for #yearofthehorse themed sale . After painting a portrait of a famous racehorse I became facinated by the underlying structure of the horse's head and made these studies inspired by Stubb's anatomical sketches - plus other paintings based on my love of #stubbs and #horses and #paint
