For anyone who needs to see, hear, sense into the sea, sun and horizon as we near the end of 2025, or whenever you find this ~ It can be surprising how even through a phone screen we can open to our inner sea, breath and sense of spaciousness, even for a moment ~ 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 #sea #horizon #pebble #sun #somatic

Case Study reduced rate offering opening in January 2026: I am currently looking for a new case study, could this be you? - Perhaps you have an issue or curiosity you would like to explore through a somatic lens over a period of time? - Or, a somatic approach to therapy has been calling you for a while? - Maybe your body is giving you some signs and signals that some more attention and process time is needed for something known or unknown? - Are you looking for a different way into exploring your own movement and sensation? If this speaks to you or you know someone who could benefit from this offer please do get in touch. As it is for a case study the sessions would be at a reduced rate. All sessions would be in person, London based over an extended period of time, in one hour sessions. DM for more details & please share

Hello ~ introducing myself here… My name is Fernanda, I am a London based somatic educator and therapist. I recently finished a three year training in Integrative Body Movement Therapy (IBMT). I am currently working with clients on a one-to-one basis, supporting through embodied dialogue and movement based processes. My background is in dance, choreography, and performance. Over the past 20 years, I have trained with somatic practitioners across many disciplines — including the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, Rolfing, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Shiatsu, Contact Improvisation, Body-Mind Centering (BMC), Skinner Releasing, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong. Working in the space between somatic inquiry and movement exploration is where my practice naturally resides — a place of ongoing fascination, research, and creative investigation. Movement is a fundamental part of human experience, yet our bodies are often overlooked. At times we can feel stuck, disconnected, or held in patterns that no longer support us. Somatic work offers a gentle and effective way to meet these experiences, creating space for repatterning, insight, and a renewed sense of presence and wholeness. While this is not talking therapy, it can complement it. Sessions are client-led and begin with whatever you bring that day. A session may include dialogue, clothed bodywork, touch, or movement explorations — offering a spacious, attuned presence that can open the felt sense. People come to this work for many reasons: - exploring an embodied approach to therapy or personal development - navigating trauma, stress, or emotional overwhelm - addressing feelings of disconnection or wishing to reconnect with body - developing an inner sense of self, exploring from sensation into movement practice My values and intentions are to: - meet you where you are - offer a non-judgmental, experiential space of enquiry - support whatever you bring, with care and attunement - provide resources that encourage reconnection with the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of self. I am currently welcoming new clients and would be happy to hear from you. DM for more details and please share!
