Transformation in action: The Beach Brigade kicked off the season today at Fire Station 21 with 34 volunteers rolling up their sleeves to get the beach ready for swimming season. Before-and-after moments tell the story—what a difference a few hours and a team can make.
We gave it our all trying to move that giant log to shore and create a seat, but it just wasn’t meant to be this time Maybe next round.
If you’re feeling FOMO, you’re in luck. The next Beach Brigade is May 23 at Audrey McCall Beach and we’d love to have you join us!
We didn’t just create these swimming spots on the Willamette. We care for them, together.
Big thanks to every volunteer who turned out with bright smiles, and to our sponsors Revive Athletics, Solve, and Oregon Metro See you in two weeks! @oregonmetro@solvepnw and @revive_athletics

The 2026 Waterway Cleanup Series is off to a strong start! 🌊
This week, 22 volunteers kicked off the season at Meldrum Bar Park and Dahl Beach, removing more than 250 lbs of litter from our local waterways. It was the usual suspects of plastic packaging and cigarette butts, but we also found 2 tires, a shopping cart, and a pair of boots. 🛒👢
This annual series in partnership with @clackamascounty Water Environment Service runs May through September, bringing communities together to protect Oregon’s rivers, streams, and natural spaces all summer long.
We’re just getting started. Get involved, we'd love to see you at the next cleanup! 💪

🌎On April 26th, WEBS hosted our annual Earth Month Beach Cleanup in partnership with @solvepnw and the Oceanside Action Partnership. During this event, 109 volunteers covered WEBS’ entire service area from Cape Lookout to Cape Meares in just one day!
We kicked off the day with a group of high school exchange students who scoured Cape Lookout’s day-use area, hiker/biker campground, and beach. Then we shifted our focus north as volunteer teams set out from Schooner Beach, Oceanside Beach, and Cape Meares Beach. Together, we removed 165 pounds of debris from our coastline!
A huge thank you to @schoonernetarts for their continued support and delicious food, and to our partners at @oregonstateparks , Tillamook County Solid Waste Department, and City Sanitary, for making this event possible.
We can’t wait to do it again—we’ll see you back out there on July 5th! 🎉

Employees of The Standard in Oregon celebrated both National Volunteer Month and Earth Day by participating in the annual SOLVE Beach Cleanup. Nearly 70 employee and community volunteers came together to care for the Oregon coast and picked up 150 lbs. of trash and marine debris from the beach. The Standard has been supporting SOLVE for several decades by engaging our employees, families and friends to volunteer to help make Oregon a beautiful place to live.
Look at our amazing volunteers at our Beach Clean Up in Newport's Agate Beach! With the help of SOLVE Oregon and our amazing volunteers we were able to clean up 265 pounds of trash!
Make sure to catch us at our next annual beach clean up next spring term here at Linn-Benton Community College, working with our volunteer coordinators in the Student Leadership Council! Thank you all so much for attending and hope to see more trash cleaned up next year!

@solvepnw and BottleDrop have always shared the same mission: reduce litter, protect and restore our natural places, and move Oregonians to action.
Together, we’re honoring Governor Tom McCall’s legacy and keeping Oregon special for every generation to come.
