I collected all of my cocoons at the end of the year to process into silk, not realizing a few of the prometheas decided to overwinter instead of eclose this summer...and now I have moths before I'm supposed to have moths 😅
Here's scarf number 2! This one is a lil unconventional for me ~ not my typical colors 😆 I made this one using mostly secondhand handspun I acquired before I started spinning + a lil bit of handspun from @mynoushart 🖤 when I was going through my stash, these random yarns really went well together, so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and give it a go ✨ this one is also made with mostly thinner yarns, so it's much lighter weight than the others ☁️
I've been semi-secretly making scarves since....November? December? And haven't photographed any of them 😆 so I finally forced myself out yesterday to get some cute pix in the very random snow we got 🌨️❄️ here's the first one I'm showing off, it's made using mostly my handspun with some additional yarns from my number 1 inspiration @mynoushart 🖤✨ hat is all my handspun, too! This scarf gives me enchanted forest vibes 🌲🪻✨🧚🏻♀️🌌
