We decided to shoot on rehoused vintage Canon FD lenses that lended a richness and human feel to the imagery. Add in that beautiful light of late fall in the New Mexico desert and you’ve got a recipe for some pretty magical scenes.

“Labor of Love” — our documentary with the Continental Divide Trail Coalition — is one we keep coming back to, and we think you should too.
Led by @davis.huber and @zeppelinzeerip , we followed staff and volunteers deep into the desert of Southern New Mexico to document the painstaking, passionate work of trail restoration. What we thought would be a simple project film turned into something much bigger: a story about community, stewardship, and what it really means to love a place.

We’re thrilled to finally be able to share our new film, Labor of Love, which documents the story of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition and the critical and demanding work performed by their staff and volunteers.
Led by @davis.huber and @zeppelinzeerip , we captured scenes from a volunteer trail restoration project in the desert of Southern New Mexico.
What started as a simple documentary about a trail project quickly and beautifully evolved into a story of community stewardship, passionate love of place, and a heartfelt tribute to public land that we couldn’t be more proud to share.
