Soft timber, cool stone and a quiet palette that settles the senses. A space shaped for stillness, where light lingers, materials breathe and time moves a little slower. Designed by @solanderhouse - Photographed by @dionrobeson

Margaret River wears two faces, the sunlit ease of summer, and the raw, windswept solitude of its off season. When the crowds fade, what remains is wild seas, moody skies, and a landscape alive with storms. Within this rhythm, MEND emerged, an ode to the off season, a place for restoration. Stone, metal and timber sit alongside reclaimed pieces, their imperfections embraced. Warm, earthy tones soften aluminium, revealing depth in contrast. MEND exists between stillness and storm, inviting quiet reflection, slowing down, and mending with intent. Light moves softly across timber and tile, warming what’s built to endure. A space for stillness, for breath, for the sound of water against wood. The kind of quiet that seeps into you. Designed by @solanderhouse - Photographed by @dionrobeson

We often speak about the physical side of a wellness space like MEND, but we also want to honour its ethereal side, the quiet pull toward spiritual growth. That journey doesn’t always begin in the prettiest place, but it is a beautiful one. Through our materiality and details, we wanted to reflect that truth, embracing imperfection and exploring the idea that beauty can rise from the shadows. A quiet glow against the wall, pared back yet intentional. Sometimes it’s the smallest details that hold the most weight. Designed by @solanderhouse - Photographed by Jordan Stent
