On 16.05, SOLACE invites you to PLEX @plex.athens for our very first Fashion Film Party: an evening dedicated to fashion, film, art, and music.
For this first edition, we will be screening NIGHTHAWK, the documentary-film project conceived by John Galliano for Maison Margiela and directed by Sasha Kasiuha, exploring the creative process behind the Maison Margiela Artisanal Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Released during Paris Fashion Week, the film unfolds as a cinematic séance, an eerie horror vignette exploring themes of memory, identity, and transformation through the lens of the show’s “offline” concept.
Alongside the screening, the space will host a curated exhibition featuring a selection of artists and creatives presenting works across various mediums.
And of course, no party is complete without the soundtrack, so expect a hot lineup of DJs carrying the night forward after the film.
Doors open at 20:00, with tickets available at the door for €7.

Singer, model, and actress Eva Papadaki appears in a SOLACE editorial exploring the appropriation of historical silhouettes and ceremonial femininity within contemporary fashion.
Corsetry, sculptural layering, braided hair structures, and dramatic styling recontextualize references associated with fantasy, warrior iconography, and romantic historical dress into a modern fashion setting. Inspired by doll-like warrior archetypes and meta-modern anime references, the editorial balances softness with confrontation, innocence with power, creating a character that feels both delicate and untouchable.
Eva wears pieces by Rena Tsan, including the sculptural crinoline skirt from the “Fragile Identities” collection created for @freethekich — a collection centered around vulnerability, transformation, and shifting identity through fashion construction.

Actress, presenter, and performer Eutuxia Xaralampaki embodies a contemporary warrior-like elegance in this SOLACE editorial, merging performance with cinematic fashion storytelling.
Known for her multidisciplinary background across theater, television, dance, and contemporary media, Eutuxia brings a strong theatrical presence that transforms the editorial into a character study balancing power, restraint, and femininity. Her internationally influenced artistic journey, moving through Athens, New York, and global creative spaces, naturally aligns with the visual language of the shoot.
Structured silhouettes, metallic detailing, and reflective velvet textures transform historical references into something futuristic and theatrical. The electric blue garment by TASOS NTOVE COUTURE creates an almost armored presence, balancing tailoring with fluid movement, while chainmail accessories introduce a sense of ritual, protection, and ornamentation.
Set against abandoned architectural landscapes, the editorial explores the dialogue between strength and elegance, combining dark fantasy imagery with contemporary fashion language rooted in performance, styling, and visual storytelling.

A contemporary reinterpretation of medieval femininity through the lens of underground fashion culture.
For this editorial featuring singer, model, and actress Eva Papadaki, we explored the tension between softness and armor, ritual and modernity, romance and strength. Chainmail silhouettes, sculptural braids, metallic textures, and ceremonial styling reference medieval iconography while remaining deeply rooted in contemporary avant-garde aesthetics.
Inspired by warrior archetypes, dark fantasy, and post-medieval fashion language, the editorial reflects how historical symbolism continues to shape modern identity and self-expression within independent fashion and visual culture.
At SOLACE, we are continuously drawn to aesthetics that merge historical influence with experimental contemporary design, creating imagery that feels both timeless and disruptive.

Between Paychecks and Passions: The Aesthetic of the Split Life
There’s a specific kind of chaos that defines this generation of creatives. It doesn’t look like the tortured artist stereotype we inherited. It looks more like a laptop balanced next to a Sega console, a half-finished drink, tangled wires, and a to-do list that includes both “send invoices” and “finish something meaningful.”
We are the generation of the split life.
By day, there’s structure. Emails. Meetings. A version of ourselves that is digestible, punctual, and polite. By night or in the margins of the day; we return to something less defined. Music, art, ideas, projects that don’t always pay but feel necessary for survival in a different way.
The tension between these two worlds isn’t new. But what’s changed is how visible and aesthetic it has become.
