RADIO:TRAUMA 028: SOL741 SOL741 is a DJ, computational artist and sound designer residing in South London. Drawing inspiration from emotionally frenetic worlds of sound, her practice manifests as a cross-breed between ambient, deconstruction, and experimental music that focuses on creating atmospheres of inner turbulence. Her work also takes influence from artists such as 703-863-4357, Klein, Infinate body and Loveliescrushing. She has previously performed at experimental club nights such as Syphen, CEHENNEM, Hypoxia and Ursonate, and is currently working on new music and is continuing to return from her performance hiatus in the early months of 2025. For this mix, SOL741 created a soundscape harnessing chaos and turmoil, cascading layers of textural and melancholic ambient, drone, noise and deconstruction. This set was performed live at TRAUMA UNIT: DOUBLE HELIX.
