Albadas has been out a little over a month and has been such a healing thing for me to release. Coincidentally it came out on World Mental Health Day, which couldnāt have been more fitting - this album is about more than just the music for me, itās also an exercise in letting go of fear, in following my gut and loosening off the shackles of anxiety and pressure. For a while I jokingly called it āa career killerā, truly believing it would do me a lot of damage, but I faced that fear because my heart said it was the right thing to do. Iām proud of the record, but in a way Iām even more proud of myself for actually putting it out.
The project would not be the same without the incredibly moving visuals and short film by @carlacervantes and @monica_figueras which somehow manages to speak a different language as the music but almost say the same thing. Iām so grateful to them for helping me walk this path and travelling it alongside me. Link to watch the whole film in bio!
